Is that some of that Million Man Math? If we look at the most recent lowest closing of the DJIA under Bush, that would have been 7,552 on 11/20/08. If it were up 50%, that would mean we’d have a closing price of 11,328.

If you’re talking about the lowest closing while Bush was in office, that would have been 7,286 on 10/9/02. If it were up 50% of that, that would still be 10,929.

The lowest point in, at least, the last 10 years was 6,773 on 3/2/09. If you’ll recall, that was long after Chairman Obama’s Immaculation. If the DJIA had increased, that would put the closing at 10,159.

The DJIA closing on 9/17/09 was 9783 which is the highest it’s been since 10/08.
