Does Any Other Freshman Senator Have Ratings This Low?
41% of Minnesota Voters Give Franken Positive Ratings
H/t RealClearPolitics blog where Kyle Trygstad offers, “After just three months in office, nearly one-third of voters say Franken is performing poorly.” Independent voters are evenly divided, with 34% giving Franken positive ratings and the same number saying he is doing a poor job. Wonder if the former funny man is doing so poorly because of his nasty nature or maybe it’s not him, it’s just a general discontent with Congress.
Wait, that can’t be it. ”Fifty-six percent (56%) of voters give” the state’s senior Senator Amy Klobuchar “good or excellent ratings.”
Maybe it’s just that living voters just aren’t comfortable backing a man who owes his victory to dead voters, er, pardon my political incorrectness, the formerly living.

He was not elected because people liked him. (And he wasn’t elected period, either. (And he didn’t steal the election because of contributions from his own constituents either.))

And as to whether BOO is a political genius, I say he’s a genius at campaigning but not at doing stuff. He organized his community into a group, but then apparently got nothing done there then all he did in state senate was vote present.

It’s been ages since I heard Al Franken tell a joke. No wonder his ratings are so low.

Who cares what Minnesota voters think about anything. They have shown themselves to be the dumbest voters in the country.

Well gez, if Norm Coleman had cowboy’d up and tried to actually RUN for Senator instead of Miss Minnesota Congeniality, maybe the election results wouldn’t have been clost enough to steal… or maybe his team could’ve done better representing his interests during the recount.
As it was, that election was Coleman’s to lose and boy did he ever. Bye, Norm…

After watching the ongoing disasters that are New York State, Taxachusetts, Maryland, California, Detroit, Chicago, Washington DC, et cetera… I’d have to say that any polity that votes Democrats into office or keeps them there is indeed in need of illustrated shoelace tying pamphlets.

You want Al Franken to tell a joke? Won’t that lower his poles?
And I’ll have to nominate my own state for dumbest. I mean we have on the left George son-of-a-vitch, Mike DeWhine, Ted Strickland, and BNL.

i agree with davep. the GOP needs fighters that aren’t afraid to say what they feel. we are in a cultural war that has to be won and puts our country back in the middle.
i pray for the people that are taking a stand against this horrible administration. i also pray that GOD will intervene in this horrible administration. imho

The sad part is that not only do 1/3 of Minnesota voters think Franken if performing poorly, they – and we – are stuck with him until the first week of January 2015.
