The boycott thing only works when there is a personal reason to not support someone or something. Had Scott Eckern not had such a bad reaction buy the very people he had worked with, there would not have been a boycott of his theatre. It's a passionate reaction to feeling betrayed for years of working along side someone.

But you cant manufacture passion ate nreaction of that sort. It's not personal.

The entertaining part is that torrentprime goes off about "underage, non-consenting females" while endorsing and supporting himself and his fellow liberal gays taking "underage, non-consenting females" to sex fairs dressed as sex slaves.

You would think if torrentprime were so worried about such things, he would speak out against his fellow gay leftists. But then again, when one remembers how he and his leftists support organizations like ACORN that are giving people advice on how to smuggle in, hide, and shield the income from prostitution of "underage, non-consenting females", you realize very quickly that torrentprime is, as always, projecting onto others the behaviors in which he and his fellow Barack Obama worshipers engage.

People in CA are going about this the wrong way. As the old saying goes: you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.
A side note to Dan: you'll notice my new e-mail address. I was the victim of a scam, so a change of address was in order.

OK, I looked the hotels up and now I have a question. If gays boycotted either or both, what would it do to Manchester's bottom line? From the other coast, I can not imagine that either of these hotels is a charming little gay boutique enclave.

However, if radical gays did performance art 24/7 at the front doors of the hotels, that might have an effect.

When dingbats set out to cripple free speech that offends them, they end up being bigger dingbats as a result.

Why not take that $25,000 and...
Do we know for sure that they didn't? I wouldn't put it past Kors & Co. to take the money and still squawk with outrage for their public.

ah poor talkingpoints just had to open his mouth...

It would also be a change if the democrats came out for civil unions, or gay marriage for that matter.

Though to use the talkingpoints definition of "traditional" surely he'd be forced to claim that homosexuality has had a long history of molesting young boys, going clear back to Sparta.

Sorry talkingpoints, it's too easy to flip your own 'standards' against you.

I think that if the Republican party would embrace civil unions in all states, it would be good for all parties.
We'll hold our collective breath waiting for that development.

To his organization’s credit, EqCA has attempted to reach out to voters in the “red” counties of the Golden State, with field offices in Republican-leaning regions as Fresno, Riverside and San Diego as well as Los Angeles, Sacramento and San Francisco.

But, unless they learn to talk in the same language as the people who reside outside “blue” regions
So... you do realize that you admit they are doing in the first sentence precisely what you call on them to do in the second, right? Just checking.

And why gay marriage is also good for society, just as traditional marriage long has been. I realize you've swallowed right-wing talking points whole (perhaps you too are a "pig girl" as ND30 charmingly puts it as he reveals the limits of his manners and taste), but there is no difference between gay marriage and "traditional" marriage; the only difference is the law limits who can join in it. Well, there are differences, in that gay marriage does not involve a dowry or slavery of an underage, non-consenting female being traded from her father to a man who can legally beat and rape her and who will never have property or sexual consent rights, let alone exclusivity in the marriage - but somehow conservatives always forget what "traditional" marriage really means.

I don’t see what he accomplishes by throwing this public temper tantrum because the “wealthy hotel owner” won’t do exactly as Kors wants him to do.

The answer is in the email.

To keep putting pressure on Doug Manchester, EQCA and the Courage Campaign are launching the new "Say No To Manchester" web site along with UNITE HERE and Californians Against Hate.

And why is that important?

Manchester's hotels are non-union, and UNITE HERE wants to force a union on them.

Kors is, as should be expected, being a good whore for the unions, just as he and "Equality" California were in this case.

Ross, a local GLBT community ally, has contributed to the “No on 8” campaign, Dine Out for Life, South Bay Pride and San Diego Leather Pride, among other causes, and claims that the community is turning its back on him.....

“If he wants to be called a member of our community, he needs to be held accountable to our community and our alliances with labor,” said San Diego Equality Campaign Executive Chair Sara Beth Brooks.

So Geoff Kors and his little pig girl are saying that anyone who doesn't support or endorse a corrupt and criminal union is antigay.

That fact needs to be publicized far and wide.

Or, will it just make Kors and his cronies feel good to humiliate someone who spearheaded an effort they just plain didn’t like and didn’t want to make the effort to defeat.

It's about attacking folks with a contrary position. It ain't PC, so it must be defeated.

The gay community needs

Uh-oh. Look out for ILC.

Those who voted for Prop 8 have no need to apologize; I won't vote for gay marriage and I'm gay. The gay community needs to learn that everyone has a right to vote and vote with his or her principles, just as the gay community does. The gay establishment is a destructive force towards any civil relationship with the heterosexual and religious communities because of their vitriolic rage, discrimination, and hate towards anyone that disagrees with them and their lifestyle. My family disagrees with my lifestyle, but they are civil to me because I am civil to them; I do not demand that they disavow their beliefs to justify my relationship. CA homosexual population has the same rights as heterosexuals do, but the term is civil unions and in said unions, a gay couple has equal rights of adoption, healthcare issues, etc. The only difference is simply the term Marriage. That is the only difference. I think that if the Republican party would embrace civil unions in all states, it would be good for all parties. The Democratic establishment on the other hand, does not see gay marriage as equality, but rather as political leverage.

It will be interesting to see, but I'm going with the infantile reaction.

btw, Carrie Prejean was very well received at the conservative voters conference this week.
If Kors thinks that his intimidation tactics will scare the conservative right he is sorely mistaken.
Perez Hilton created a martyr for their side, they are all the more energized.
