Keeping Track of Liberal Moral Hypocrisy

I just want to be clear.  So please stop me if I miss something or if I’m wrong.  But I want to make sure I list everything that is morally justified by liberals versus things that get them upset:

1 – A rich, famous brother of a Democrat President who drives drunk off a bridge and murders a young woman who was not his wife: OKAY

2 – A famous Hollywood Director who intoxicates, then rapes a 13 year old girl, confesses to it and then runs from the law for 30 years:  OKAY

3 – A Democrat President who sexually harasses an intern under his employ in the Oval Office then lies under oath: OKAY

4 – A Republican Congressman who texts with 17-18 year old boys but never met them:  NOT OKAY

5 – A Democrat Senator currently with leadership status who was the elected “Exalted Cyclops” in the Ku Klux Klan and repeatedly used racial slurs on television until he became too old and his words slurred:  OKAY

6 – A Republican Congressman who yelled at a President who happens to be African-American:  NOT OKAY

7 – A Democrat school teacher, now Presidential “Safe Schools Czar”, who did nothing when a teenager told him of dangerous sex habits with older men:  OKAY

8 – A Republican VP candidate whose underage daughter becomes the target of rape jokes by liberal Late Night talk show host:  OKAY (and hilarious!)

9 – A liberal Late Night host sexually harassing employees on his staff:  ALSO OKAY

And that is just the tip of the iceberg of the Democrats’ lack of morality.  Never mind the hypocrisy on CIA interrogations, closing GITMO, exploding the Federal Debt, government transparency, and massive Congressional corruption.

  1. The liberals have figured it all out. They have no moral code whatsoever, that is something Republicans do, so they are free to behave in any which way they want.
Since there must be some ounce of humanity in there after all, they make a point of holding Republicans to a standard that they reject for themselves.

Makes life much easier that way.

  2. Don’t forget–it’s not rape if it’s not “rape-rape.” Thanks, Celie–guess The Color Purple was kind of pointless.

  4. I think it was Allahpundit who joked that the buzz on Roman Polanski’s next film is so strong that Europe is going to let him bang an eight-year old. It’s THAT GOOD!

Ash (#2) The Color Purple reference made my day. Many thanks!

    Best wishes,

  5. I’m not sure it’s completely fair to say that liberals, as a whole, are okay with Polanski’s conduct. While the support for him is coming from the left, I have also seen several liberal writers denounce him.

  6. I think you are forgetting Barney Frank’s male hustler who he paid for sex and then let him use the house to turn tricks… OK ;)

  7. 10. Democrat Rep has an underage male page — OKAY

    11. Liberal Director rapes 12 year old boy, and goes on to make mainstream Hollywood movies that fetishize violence against teenage boys — OKAY

  8. And a correction to GayPatiot’s Number 7: Instead of doing nothing, the safe school czar encouraged the fifteen year old kid to continue the inappropriate relationship, and covered it up from authorities.

  9. V . . . you missed # 12.

A Republican Senator who got a job for the man whose wife was playing nookie-nookie with the married Senator. OOPSIE. OKAY- NOT OKAY. will have to wait to see.

Well, we know it’s OK, rusty.

Because since you excuse all these other behaviors, you certainly excuse and support this one.

And certainly, since you support promiscuity outside marriage and corruption in terms of getting jobs when Obama Party members do it, you wouldn’t have any objections on the basis of principle, would you?

After all, you wouldn’t be so hypocritical as to attack a Republican for doing things that you endorse and support Obama Party members for doing, would you?

  13. Let’s not forget the lack of outrage for John Edwards fathering a child out of wedlock. I bet his daughter will feel great that daddy denied as long as he could. Why no outrage over how he’s treated his own child?

  14. THANKS NDT I just think that your Drag Name should be Rita Beads. . .

The reason Rita Beads is such a funny name is probably sadly lost to most of you, but the threat to “read your beads” was a common expression back in the day, one homo to another. Reading someone’s beads meant to tell them off, to give them what-for, to put them in the their place, in the sort of high-drama that only can come from a place of great creativity and style. And cuntiness. from JMD

  15. Tim,

read what the man said….. He said “I hope you are using condoms”…. then he took no action…. and he wrote about the smile that the 15 year old gave him whilst he continued at school….

That is a cover up and it is unacceptable behaviour in a teacher…. male or female…. heterosexual or homosexual….

Just like it is unacceptable when a female teacher has sex with her male pupils. It is not okay.

  17. Two More…

    13. Liberal Democrat Presidential Candidate fathers a child with his mistress while his wife is supposedly has terminal cancer — OKAY.

    14. Conservative Republican VP candidate gives birth to a Downs Syndrome baby instead of aborting it.– NOT OKAY.

  18. Kevin Jennings supported NAMBLA

Transcripts of a GLSEN conference in NYC on October 25, 1997 indicate that Jennings said, “one of the people that always inspired me is Harry Hay.” Jennings also edited a book called Becoming Visible: A Reader in Gay and Lesbian History for High School and College Students which included a biographical sketch on Harry Hay. One of GLSEN’s Education Department resources also lists a work on Harry Hay.

  19. Tim, he covered it up by not reporting it to authorities. And his speeches have indicated that he encouraged the unhealthy relationship to continue, like this one in 2000.

And I said, “Brewster, what are you doing in there asleep?” And he said, “Well, I’m tired.” And I said, “Well we all are tired and we all got to school today.” And he said, “Well I was out late last night.” And I said, “What were you doing out late on a school night.” And he said, “Well, I was in Boston…” Boston was about 45 minutes from Concord. So I said, “What were you doing in Boston on a school night Brewster?” He got very quiet, and he finally looked at me and said, “Well I met someone in the bus station bathroom and I went home with him.” High school sophomore, 15 years old. That was the only way he knew how to meet gay people. I was a closeted gay teacher, 24 years old, didn’t know what to say. Knew I should say something quickly so I finally said, “My best friend had just died of AIDS the week before.” I looked at Brewster and said, “You know, I hope you knew to use a condom.” He said to me something I will never forget, He said “Why should I, my life isn’t worth saving anyway.”

And in his book, he claims “Brewster,” left his office with a smile on his face, a smile he would see many times over the next two years. Nowhere does he make any mention to discouraging the “relationship.”

The praise of Henry Hay is just icing on the cake.

  20. Speaking of intoxicating and raping 13-year old girls, here’s some demotivational posters featuring the Hollywod roaches who support it:

  21. Number 15: Chairman Rangel (D-NY) of the House Ways and Means Committee (where tax law is written) is a major-league tax cheat (and has become wealthy having done nothing but work for the government). OKAY.

Sen. Ted Stevens (R-AK) in trouble for shady deals. NOT OKAY (and Republicans lined up to throw him under the nearest bus).

Number 16: Rep William Jefferson (D-LA) ($90K stashed in freezer), re-elected after he was indicted; now convicted. OKAY with Dems.

Tom DeLay (R-TX) indicted on trumped up charges (no convictions). NOT OKAY.

  24. [...] Keeping Track of Liberal Moral Hypocrisy Read the list and add to it as you see fit.  Liberals don’t actually have morals, they have ‘feelings’.  As in, “Well yes it is against the law, but I ‘feel’ it shouldn’t be.” [...]

  25. The bit about Jennings & NABMLA is a bunch of BS. His remarks about Hays no more denote support for NAMBLA than Trent Lott’s praise of Strom Thurmond denote support for racism & segregation.

Having said this I personally find very little about Hays or Thurmond to publically praise either.

  26. The bit about Jennings & NABMLA is a bunch of BS.

So he’s inspired by a pedophile who was tight with the Communists and speaking highly of him could be a good thing…..how?

    Comment by ThatGayConservative — October 4, 2009 @ 4:16 am - October 4, 2009

  27. Show of hands — a week ago, who already knew about Harry Hay’s connection to NAMBLA?

I sure as hell didn’t, although I knew that Hay was a founder of both the Mattachine Society and the Radical Faeries, and that he was a card-carrying member of the CPUSA, and that once upon a time he was romantically involved with Will “Grandpa Walton” Geer. But the NAMBLA speeches were truly news to me — because everything I know about Hay was from short biographical sketches online and in print outlets like The Washington Blade, and these summary bios often just say something or other about the Mattachines (and of course the Grandpa Walton connection, because it’s amusing trivia), and leave it at that.

So, if Jennings were to claim total ignorance of Hay’s NAMBLA involvement, I’d say that was at least plausible. (Though it wouldn’t say much for his research skills as a former high-school teacher.)

  28. You are right. Dems and liberals are as bad as Repubs and conserv.

But the Dems never held themselves up as the party of god, morality and holier than thou virtue.

    Thats’s the difference.

    Comment by Rick — October 4, 2009 @ 11:20 am - October 4, 2009

  29. Actually, the real difference is Republicans ten to vote their scumbags out of office. Mark Foley, Larry Craig, and Bob Ney are history. Sanford’s career is over.

But the Democrats continue to support theirs. Gerry Studds was re-elected nine times. Charlie Rangel is still Chairman of Ways and Means. And Eliot Spitzer is making a comeback. Sam Adams is still mayor of Portland. John Street was re-elected Mayor of Philadelphia even after his corruption was exposed. Ditto Kwame Kilpatrick of Detroit.
