This is a wonderful example of paranoia and ignorance. The incident no doubt was the result of the often very unreliable way in which copying-and-pasting from web pages works. At most the Guardian should be given grief over their lack of proofreading. Making a tempest over this only furthers the reputation of Jews as all having a persecution complex. Come on, can we develop a public relations sensibility here?

This should not only end the careers of the “journalists” and/or “editors” involved. It should END The Guardian. If this scandal is quickly dismissed as a computer glitch or the lunatic actions of one disgruntled employee–or worse, if the paper cops to it and then blows it off as a momentary “poor editorial choice,” then anyone that continues to subscribe to or work for that rag is a vile, anti-semitic brownshirt. That’s it. This is a “teaching moment.” The mask has fallen, broken into pieces, and revealed the rotting, hideous faces of the Euro-leftist scum bags in charge at The Guardian.

I am a pretty big Frank detractor, on style and rhetoric as much as substance but this is one genius logism. Of course it would have come in handy when Bush was being burned in effigy every other weekend but it’s out there now.
