Yes jeaneeinabottle, she is blind. Blind with hatred of CEOs that she’ll do anything to destroy them regardless of the effects of her actions on everyone else and she’ll never have to pay for it, under the current system, because of immunity. Given that, why should she stop to think?

Hell, does anyone understand how Pelosi makes money? Or Rangel (oops, I’m not suppose to ask)?

As far as Pelosi knows, the insurance companies (like all of us in the private sector) just go shake the money tree or, if it’s barren, we just head out and bop some poor minority-person on the head and take their money.

So, I assume that the $6.7 billion annual fee will be IN ADDITION to the “windfall” profits tax that Pelosi is plotting to impose on insurance companies as part of Obamacare? But don’t worry, Obama, Pelosi, Reid, et al. have repeatedly assured America that this is about stimulating competition in the health insurance market. They LOVE free market competition–that is, unless it happens to produce the undesirable results of lower costs, affordability, prosperity, profits, success, customer satisfaction, and reduced dependence on government.

When these people talk about “competition” and stimulating the economy, I’m surprised we haven’t gotten to the point where people just throw tomatoes and rotten heads of cabbage.
