I don’t know if such questions mean the honeymoon is over or that media types are seeing the notice brought to people like Jake Tapper and Glenn Beck and they want someone to notice them. If you’re the only one (or one of the few) asking tough questions, you get attention rather than being lost in the herd.

As I’m astounded by the comments of the Obama advisor, it doesn’t compare to my revelation that there are gay conservatives. I have a beloved niece who is gay and my daughter-in-law’s mother is gay and it never occurred to me that either one could be conservative.

The fact is less than 1% of the population watches Fox News.
Its likely that a lot of this 1%’s party ideology is already fixed as die hard conservative.
If their ratings increase by another .005% of the population I am sure the white house can deal with that.

As long as their agenda makes it through, who cares if the yackers go on and on about whether or not Glen Beck speaks for the Republicans.

Further, giving Beck a reason to turn his megaphone on louder makes it harder for moderates to get on board with republicans.

Seems good to me.

When Jarrett starts talking about “truth to power” her Chicago graft and corruption infected mind means that if someone challenges power with truth, that someone had better be well armed and stay awake. Power will come after truth every time.
