There are two reasons for that, TGC: (1) when it comes to politics, liberals are pathological liars to begin with and have no moral qualms about it because they believe lying is a virtue if it furthers the liberal agenda; and (2) liberalism’s continuing existence depends upon a constant, relentless attack on truth from all sides from as many sources that can be recruited. Liberalism would have died a natural (and noble) death in the 1960s if it weren’t for the nasty strain that morphed into the history-rewriting, lies-in-the-face-of-indisputable-truth version that we’re stuck with today.

So, being good little sheep, liberals will repeat ANYTHING as fact FOREVER provided that it has at some point been hastily slapped on a bumper-sticker by the DNC, A.N.S.W.E.R., or a guy named Phil they met at a protest rally (and whose skills were limited to tie-dying various textiles and fabrics). We are talking about people who still absolutely believe that Bush STOLE the 2000 Election, despite the findings of a media consortium consisting of The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Tribune Company, The Washington Post, The Associated Press, The St. Petersburg Times, The Palm Beach Post, and CNN, that in every recount scenario, Bush won. These fools are so well-trained that even when the New York Times tells them they’re full of shit, they still won’t let it go.

I was promptly banned from the Huffington Post two days ago for pointing out the fact that neither Dick Cheney nor Scooter Libby “outed” Valerie Wilson, that Richard Armitage has publicly confessed that he did it.

Which was very upsetting — had I known it would get me banned, I would have put in a few choice words about lying libtard fascists while I was at it.
