Democrats Making Robocalls for Daggett in New Jersey

If Republicans did this, it would make headlines all over showing the kind of dirty politics these angry white men play in order to keep their hold on power.  Jim Geraghty reports that, “Democrats have so much of a vested interest in independent Christopher Daggett splitting the anti-incumbent vote that they are putting resources into promoting him.”

The Democratic State Committee now admits paying for a robocall to Somerset County voters that slams Republican Chris Christie and promotes independent gubernatorial candidate Christopher Daggett.

A Democratic spokeswoman says the party’s chairman, Joe Cryan, was not aware of the robocalls when he denied that the state committee had anything to do with them yesterday afternoon.

If this gets out, it can only help Chris Christie, but the question is whether or not New Jersey (as well as Philadelphia and New York) media will pick this up.

This news merely confirms something I mentioned as just reported in a previous post.  Seems like Democrats are pulling every tactic from their bag of tricks to pull out a victory in the Garden State.  And Obama’s right there elbow-to-elbow with the New Jersey Governor who has presided over a meltdown of his state’s economy since taking office four years ago.

Guess that “new kind of politics” Obama promised in his campaign last year is just making Chicago politics national.

UPDATE: “It speaks volumes that the Democratic party in New Jersey feels the best use of their resources is to promote a third-party’s candidate instead of their own.”  Ditto that.

  1. Robo smeer calls? How bout some black panthers intimidating old people at the polls tomorrow? More absentee ballots counted than were originally issued? More of the same Democrat cheating at the American polls. Ho hum.

Nobody bothered to ask what Hopenchange meant. Now we know.

  3. I have been reading about these tactics, and I just hope the ALP (Australian Labour Party – who mimic the Dhimmicrats) have not been watching, ready and willing to follow.

It is interesting that the Democrats have already asked that absentee ballots where the signatures do not match should be counted…. I wonder why.

I just hope that there are enough Independents who do get out and vote and that they vote against both Corzine and Daggett.

  4. #3 straightAussie, as I pointed out in another post far below, October 29th, on the state Democratic party lawyer requesting the mail ballots being counted, it is to setup for them to run to the courts first as always.

3.Ah, look which party is getting ready for the court challenges: http://campaignspot.nationalreview.com/post/?q=ZTg3YTE5Yjk1Y2Q2NDZiMjQ2ODc1MjY4YmRiYWUyMjQ=

  5. Nothing new about this crap among Northeast Dems. When Rendell was running for Govenor of PA in 2002, The Libertarian candidate Ken Krawchuk bragged to a meeting of the Delaware Valley Pink Pistols that Rendell’s campaign helped him get the required signatures on his nomination petition to split Mike Fisher’s conservative vote. I was there.

  6. Im sure this is just one of many dirty tricks Democrats are pulling in Jersey. Most of which we will never find out about unless Christie wins, and perhaps not even then.

If it looks like Christie is winning, just wait for large quantities of previously undiscovered ballots to be “found” in heavily Democrat-leaning precincts. Thats why the federal government is funding ACORN after all.

  7. Well one of the most used tricks by Democrats is….the polls are so crowded and the workers so inept we need a judge to extend voting hours so those just getting up, can still make it to a poll to vote. hehe

  11. I knew he had been there, but didn’t realize he was a frequent flier. Not surprised though.
