Ft. Hood Islamist Massacre

The Religion of Peace is alive and well in the ranks of our own military.

Wonderful.

RELATED: President Obama’s “My Pet Goat” Moment?

At about 5 p.m., cable stations went to the president. The situation called for not only his trademark eloquence, but also grace and perspective.

But instead of a somber chief executive offering reassuring words and expressions of sympathy and compassion, viewers saw a wildly disconnected and inappropriately light president making introductory remarks. At the event, a Tribal Nations Conference hosted by the Department of Interior’s Bureau of Indian affairs, the president thanked various staffers and offered a “shout-out” to “Dr. Joe Medicine Crow — that Congressional Medal of Honor winner.”  Three minutes in, the president spoke about the shooting, in measured and appropriate terms. Who is advising him?

  1. Nothing Sarah Palin has said or done comes close to the level of inappropriateness of Obama’s speech here. You will know the true koolaid drinker liberals from the reasonable ones in their reaction to this.

  2. The media seems to be going back and forth about whether (or how much they should report the fact that Hasan is a Muslim and an Islamist.

At first, they didn’t report it at all. A few minutes ago, I saw this AP article with the headline, “Fort Hood suspect shouted Allahu Akbar”:
    http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091106/ap_on_re_us/us_fort_hood_shooting

Just a few minutes later, I hit the Refresh button and the headline was changed to “Neighbor: Fort Hood suspect emptied his apartment” – but the Muslim elements inside the article are intact.

  3. Whoops, now it’s back to “Ft. Hood suspect reportedly shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’”. Whatever.

  4. Why the MSM whitewash of the possibility that this was a act of Islamofascist terror? What, if you don’t cry out “…Akbar Allahu” it’s NOT terrorism? Or at-minimum a Islamic-based hate-crime?

In WW2, we separated-out who were loyal German-Americans…who were members of the Bund and those who were NSDAP-sympathizers and fellow-travellers. In WW1, Pres. Wilson didn’t even bother with judical-process. Are we too-afraid to at-elast ask ourselves to at-least ask the question of ourselves “if” we need to be less blase’ about those in our midst? Or what price in blood is acceptable tree fertilizer….

  5. The clowns over at ThinkDumbass were insisting that it wasn’t and were blaming Shepherd Smith and Kay Bailey Hutchinson for mentioning his name. They also stated that “Malignant Malkin” and Limbaugh would be the ones insisting that it was a terror attack.

Leave it to a-holes liberals to deny what’s in front of them.

  6. The Drive Bys are incapable of covering this type of news competently. This morning we know a few more things, chief among them being (besides that he is ALIVE and will have to answer for what he’s done) that he is Muslim and possibly a Jihadist; that he is aligned with the Left in his overtly anti-Iraq and Afghanistan wars stance and apparent anti-military stance; that he may have written extremist rants online; that he was a psychiatrist treating soldiers and he had been separated from Walter Reed with a poor performance rating; that he may have internalized to an extent some of his patients’ mental disorders via treatment of their experiences, disabilities, etc., and be an all-round unstable individual (and that they knew it).

Not only does this not speak well for the psychiatric profession and Walter Reed, but it does not speak well for the Army that they appear to have reverted to a 9/10 mentality and political correctness that may have been the largest cause of the 9/11 attacks to begin with.

You won’t see these issues discussed by the MSM “experts” with any measure of rationality and honesty.

  7. I’m getting very scared, our manchild president is incapable of having his telepromter to put together a short speech honoring and respecting our fallen soldiers.
Then MSM piles on with the ‘victimhood’ of the murderer.
btw, science always trumps religion in the left’s eyes. How come this A-hole who got his education and job courtesy of the US military, yet he still allows that evil religion of islam to over come all the rationality he has practiced for years as a psychiatrist????

  11. This is a terrible tragedy, and I’m not sure this point is appropriate, but it’s important to note that this act of senseless violence wasn’t egged on by the “teabaggers” or Glenn Beck, as the liberals have been predicting.

  17. You’re right, anon. It could be them Taoists. Never trusted them folks after seeing them blow themselves up in shopping malls and pizzarias.

Then there are the Zen Buddhists with their evil shouts of “Be one with God! BE the greatest!” as they commit unspeakable acts of violence.

And let’s not forget the Joooos. Yep, it always comes back to the Joooos. While taking time out from their never-ending quest for world domination by control our lives through the media and banking, the Joooos have impressed us all with their – dare I say “epic”? – You Tube videos of beheading people.

NBC. The bloom is far from off the rose. Even the state run media is questioning whether Obama is detached from reality.

  21. I am sympathetic to Muslims because I think most, like gays, are tired of being represented by a visible group which doesn’t reflect their values. I am sure most Muslims were horrified at this event. The bulk of gays don’t go to Pride parades and the bulk of Muslims aren’t terrorists. All the Muslims I have met are pretty much like the Lutherans I’ve met–they don’t really know why they are Muslim or what it means, it’s just part of their upbringing. This terrible man is like a radical Catholic who bombs an abortion clinic–most Catholics don’t think about it that much. I hope people won’t judge Islam based on his heinous crime.

More rectal-cranial inversion which allows this type of thing and 9/11 to happen in the first place. No how much you polish a turd, anon, it’s still a turd.

  24. #14 Anon…Humm, I wonder why you shoot and scoot? Not one to dialogue I suspect. And using the big word “racist” is supposed to shut people up and create some shame…woo hoo!!! Luckily, in the good old US of A we can express ourselves…though obviously not as well as you do…Come back here and talk instead of whining about racism. Extend yourself a bit and be articulate about it.

  29. One symptom of NPD (narcissitic personality disorder) is a complete lack of empathy for others.
When will Americans wake up and realize this guy is not only a narcissist but possibly with sociopathic tendencies.
He is a Muslim, who hates America and the white man.
He grew up in Hawaii. I live in Hawaii and know first hand their hatred of the “haole”. I hear from locals that the prejudice here towards white people is “better” than it used to be. So Bambam grew up in a place where white men are hated and sometimes killed because of this hatred.
How could he sit in Rev. Wrong’s church for twenty years and not hear the hatred towards whites that that man spewed.
This is a sad time in America.
My heart goes out to the victims at Fort Hood and their family. I apologize for this man who is called the president.
