The point of the post is Obama’s constant comparisons and constant attempts to elevate himself? As I asked in the post and Mary quoted above, Why can’t this guy just point out the specifics of what he has done without putting his record into a world-historical context?

Address that question first before attacking Bush and us.

1. Your new name is now TALKING POINTS TANO because you have proven once again that you are incapable of doing anything more than popping up here and typing Rahm Emanuel’s daily propaganda points. 3. Since you’re Talking Points Tano, I certainly have given up on ever getting a response to my questions in #8, but it occurred to me that there is another situation that makes my questions legitimate ones.

As you know, Obama is over in Asia this week, rebuilding all of those smoldering bridges that George W. Bush burned through during his Presidency. I’m sure that just by calling himself the “Pacific President” China’s President is already head over heels in love with Obama AND our recently misguided, prodigal nation. So, since our country and China are like total BFFs, naturally we can count on their support and participation in the global cap and trade program Obama is trying to engineer, right? Well, unfortunately, it turns out they don’t like us enough to destroy their own economy as they recently pledged defiant opposition to participating in any such program that might hurt their economy (duh).

So, once again, I ask…why is it sooooooooo important that these people like us if every time we seek their cooperation in ANYTHING they tell us to go fu*k ourselves?
