Thoughts on Sarah Palin & “Going Rogue”

I’ve bought the book, it is in the mail, and I watched Sarah on Oprah.

More later… I just figured we could use the bump in traffic with a Palin-related headline.

Crass, I know.  But funny, huh?

  1. Word is that Palin gave Oprah a bigger ratings bump than the messiah.

How sad is that (for the left)?

  2. Off-topic, I know, but I think this link is important:

    http://www.publiceye.org/ark/africa-report/press-release.php

This discusses a report about how conservative Christians are using the church in Africa to help achieve their homophobic goals. It talks about the new death penalty law for gays in Uganda. It also talks about Rick Warren’s involvement. And it might help explain why there is a bit of tension between the black community and the gay community.

Just a suggestion for a possible non-Palin thread.

  4. Palin, Palin, hmmm. Isn’t she that former mayor who consigned herself to oblivion when she vacated the governor’s office?

    Oh yeah, not! Go Sarah!

Thats what everyone is doing. I think you should get some sort of treat just for being the first to admit it!

  6. And is it not strange that some of her biggest fans are …. not Republicans….. but Democrats….. seriously, there are a bunch of moderate Democrats who love Sarah Palin. I suspect it is because they see in her that something they see in Hilary.

As an outsider I do not agree with the LSM or the DNC when they put Sarah Palin down. I had the opportunity of hearing her speak to reporters on the TV when I was in the USA. She sounded very articulate, and she knew more about her subject than the Doofus who thinks the USA has 57 States…..and the Doofus who does not know Protocol.

  7. You got to admit a lot of the liberal angst about Palin is sexist. This is the party who wouldn’t give it’s Presidential nomination to Hillary but instead to a non entity community organizer with virtually no experience.
A lot of people in that party don’t like strong independent women.

  9. You know what I’ve noticed about Sarah Palin? Leftist Progressives tend to project their own pathologies onto her.

Ana Marie Cox said she was a shallow attention whore.

Andrew Sullivan said that she was a deranged fantasist.

Larry O’Donnell called her loud and stupid.

And a lot of the little-letter people around here call her stupid, too.

Soon, Rosie O’Donnell will call her a fat bull dyke.

And how many Republicans went moonbatshitcrazy when Ferraro told the truth about the POSOTUS to be?

  11. Via HotAir, good piece from David Harsanyi. Just one highlight:

The widely read blogger and purveyor of all truth, Andrew Sullivan, was impelled to blog 17 times on the subject of Palin on the same day Americans learned that the Obama administration awarded $6.7 billion in stimulus money to non-existent congressional districts — which did not merit a single mention. To see what is in front of one’s nose demands a constant struggle, I guess.

  12. ILC, they are obsessed. It seemed every time I looked up from my cardio at the screen blaring MSNBC, I saw another segment on the former Alaska Governor.
