    Isn’t it funny. That is, almost word for word, what the general assessment of George Bush’s approach was, relative to Clinton.

    Which is why the whole Arab-Israel peace process was never followed up on after Taba, why Richard Clarke’s admonitions about Al-Qaeda were backburnered. I think we have some real projection going on here.

    Especially when, on odd numbered days I guess, the message from the right is that Obama is simply adopting the Bush policies, such as the embrace of Petrean surges, following up on the Bush opening to Iran and the like….

    and given his Republican national security director, and keeping Bush’s defense secretary…I don’t know,,,,seems like a really weak case for Ms Rubin.

    Sounds to me that she is simply interested in hurling the insult du jour.
