Latest Video From Iranian People

December 27, 2009 by GayPatriot

Via CNN’s iReport website:

Again, there are constant live updates from the people of Iran themselves on Twitter. Much violence and bloodshed. Today looks to be a turning point in the Green Revolution. Hopefully.

Meanwhile, Barry is golfing and taking the kids for ice cream in Hawaii.  Has the President EVER used the words “Freedom” or “Liberty”?  Just curious.

UPDATED MUSING:  When did Barry and American Democrats stop caring about human rights?  Was that another casualty of the 2008 Election?

UPDATE: From “Iran1st” on Twitter: In over 1300 years no ruler or invader has ever shed blood on Ashura [Shia mourning holiday] – The Islamic Republic has.

What is your suggestion on an appropriate response from our current presidential administration?

As soon as practicable this POTUS should be impeached because he is not upholding the Constitution, a promise that he made under oath. The reason for suggesting impeachment is that he has committed an act of perjury that is far worse than the perjury committed by Bill Clinton.

Any impeachment should outline charges relating to his malfeasance regarding the takeover of GM and Chrysler, the shutting down of Chrysler dealerships that belonged to Republicans, the interference in Honduras, the bowing before the emperor of Japan (and everything that it signifies), the attempt to bring about communism…. etc. etc.

I find it disgusting that he attempted to overthrow the Honduras govt which had legitimately removed Zelaya whilst at the same time he refused to accept that Ahmanutjob was not the legitimately elected President in Iran. I find it disgusting that he has not spoken out on the human rights violations in Iran, and ditto over his attitude towards human rights violations in China.

yeah, apparently he has — just once for all I can find — and he says that the “meaning of our liberty” is to give more of it to government…at least that is the best I can make of this unintelligible leftist claptrap:

What is required of us now is a new era of responsibility – a recognition, on the part of every American, that we have duties to ourselves, our nation, and the world, duties that we do not grudgingly accept but rather seize gladly, firm in the knowledge that there is nothing so satisfying to the spirit, so defining of our character, than giving our all to a difficult task.

This is the price and the promise of citizenship.

This is the source of our confidence – the knowledge that God calls on us to shape an uncertain destiny.

This [the aforementioned horsepucky] is the meaning of our liberty and our creed – why men and women and children of every race and every faith can join in celebration across this magnificent mall, and why a man whose father less than sixty years ago might not have been served at a local restaurant can now stand before you to take a most sacred oath.

The man is a fascist, he does not BELIEVE in liberty.

a promise that he made under oath.

    DRH,

    – more money to Radio Free Iran, and refund the Iran Human Rights Documentation Centre.

    – An actual embargo of Iran, up to and including shutting off pipelines and blocking/threatening/sinking ships running that embargo.

    – Iraq not just sitting there when Iran comes marching in and seizing an oil well.

    – funding the democracy now movements in Iran.

    – Loud public statements about the people in Iran, letting them know they are not alone.

    – Practice exercises on the Iraq/Iran border.

    – Pointing the PKK to Iran, and using that to bribe Turkey

How to pay for this, you ask? Reverse the unlimited bailout of fannie and freddie, rescend the stimulus, health care debates. Allow local nuclear power plants to be built, Take the Marshal Bill’s defunding clause and expand it to include Universities that contact the Iranian government. Stop paying the UN to screw us over.

    I forgot…

Targeted strikes on Hamas and Hezbulla in Lebanon and Syria. Work with the Cedars in the Lebanon Government and the Israelies. Have top leaders just disappear. Forment revolt in Syria against the dentist. Give Iran so many fires that they can’t put them out.

(Yes, I’m advocating targeted assassinations, deal with it.)
