Sarah & Hillary: Most Admired Women in USA
Despite the vicious attacks on both women by the Obama cult last year… Palin & Clinton are most admired women in American this year.
According to a new survey just released by USA Today and the Gallup Poll, the 62-year-old Clinton barely beat out the 45-year-old Palin as the most admired female — 16% to 15% in a poll of 1,025 adult Americans.
However, because the poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points, it’s statistically a P-C draw. The survey was open-ended, meaning men and women respondents had to provide the names by themselves.
Not that public admiration necessarily translates to votes. But the results have to set off any political spectator’s eager imagination about a future presidential ballot match-up between the pair who, though politically polar opposites, are both outspoken, both often underestimated and both beloved by their respective bases.
Palin beat out Oprah and Michelle Obama.
Verrrry interesting…

Both have real accomplishments under their belts.
Being an angry fashion icon who doesn’t do fashion well doesn’t make you a person to admire.

The Democrats made a huge mistake when they nominated Obama over Hillary. It was a case of the cool, new, young guy getting the job over the woman who has worked there forever. I hope that the loony-left segment of the Democrats are seeing the error of their ways.
I love Sarah Palin. She might be too right-wing for me to vote for, but at least I’d trust her in charge of the military and security. I wouldn’t want to be a Nigerian shoe-bomber on her watch.

Young and cool does not a President make!!!
It is interesting that two Obama women, Michelle and Oprah did not fare well. Maybe sculpted shoulders and thinking you are a counselor
are criteria to be admired.

I meant NOT to be admired

Remind me again why Hillary is more than just another professional politician mate, nouveau and wannabe. I get all stuck on cheated wife, Hillarycare lead balloon, serial liar, savior of New York from bankruptcy, Secretary of State to Fiji, Namibia, Nepal and Luxembourg. Maybe I need to reread the village/child book. Frankly, Larry King has better credentials.

This is too funny. The Obama fans must be reeling!

Even negative publicity is good publicity for the Obamas. They would probably call an expensive restaurant and have themselves pages so that people will think of them.

“The Democrats made a huge mistake when they nominated Obama over Hillary. It was a case of the cool, new, young guy getting the job over the woman who has worked there forever.”
Yes, that’s how a lot of women of a certain age who made up Hillary’s base interpreted the Democrat primary. I remember reading comments on the Democrat message boards from women who said things like, “I’ve seen this happen so many times where I work but also to my friends who work other places — a hip, younger, but clearly inexperienced man almost always gets the promotion instead of the older, more experienced woman.” And are they ever bitter…

Now let’s COMPARE those two most admired women based on their accomplishments. On one hand you have an enormously corrupt (file-gate, travel-gate, insider trading, campaign finance violations, etc), incompetent boob, pathological liar, Hillary, who has screwed up everything she has ever touched (hillarycare, reset button, etc) and only gotten where she is on the coattails of her husband.
While on the other hand you have an entirely self-made woman, who has gotten where she is based entirely on her own accomplishments, who has enacted real, meaningful reform, stopped corruption rather than engaging in it, who has helped people and helped her state, has a career marked by achievement and success, with no trace of corruption.
No comparison. And how embarrassing for Hillary supporters.

Who’s underestimated Hillary?
Comment by ThatGayConservative — December 30, 2009 @ 4:39 pm - December 30, 2009
No, Hillary in not the candidate of hope and change, that’s for sure. She’s a career politician who is surrounded by scandal. She’s had ups and downs. She has probably ridden whatever coattails she needed to ride to get where she is. She is now taking a crummy job to put foreign policy on her resume.
I really like people who do what it takes and who don’t pretend to be anything they’re not. Hillary 2012.

I loathe Hillary, yet still respect her. She’s one of the sharpest pols around, and anyone who forgets that is gonna suffer if they piss her off.
I think Obama has both forgotten that, and pissed her off. Bad idea.
Comment by Tully — December 30, 2009 @ 8:11 pm - December 30, 2009
The sharpest pols around? She was handed the Democrat presidential nomination on a silver platter and lost it to a guy with even less experience and accomplishment than herself. She won her senate race by breaking campaign finance laws and illegally withholding millions of dollars so that she could run an ad blitz leading into the election and her opponents would have no way to plan for it.
So I suppose she broke the law well. But other than that, where has she EVER done ANYTHING right or well?
Comment by American Elephant — December 30, 2009 @ 8:59 pm - December 30, 2009
She also broke the law “well” when she illegally held documents in the White House residence on several occasions, made a fortune off illegal insider trading, was labeled an unindicted co-conspirator by the FBI, and on and on
I guess if by sharpest, you mean one of the most dishonest, unprincipled and corrupt, then I see your point.
Comment by American Elephant — December 30, 2009 @ 9:05 pm - December 30, 2009
If Hillary were a man, you’d admire her for her savvy. Oh, wait–you do admire Reagan. And Bush. And Cheney. Let’s match up their legal troubles and their ability to move ahead with Hillary’s.
Comment by Ashpenaz — December 30, 2009 @ 9:29 pm - December 30, 2009
Bingo, Ashpenaz. I do not have to like her (and don’t) to notice that she is deadly competent at political gutter infighting, much more so than her hubby. Or that it took a bunch of people she trained (such as Rahm Emmanuel) to boost Obambi past her. If I were Mr. Hopenchange I would NEVER have invited her into the admin — that’s like hiring Lucrezia Borgia as your personal chef and bartender after screwing her over. Perhaps he thought she would do less damage to him as SoS than in the Senate. Dumb.
But this is one patient and capably nasty pol. I keep hearing Russell Crowe’s voice… “…and I will have my revenge!”
Comment by Tully — December 30, 2009 @ 9:51 pm - December 30, 2009
ANY time
ANY where
ANY place
ANY day!
And what the hell does ones “ability to move ahead” after breaking the law have to do with ANYTHING??? Of COURSE criminals want you to “move ahead” rather than dwelling on their felonies.
You cant possibly even be serious!
Comment by American Elephant — December 30, 2009 @ 9:56 pm - December 30, 2009

OK, exactly in what way is Cheney less tainted with personal and legal scandals than Hillary? Let’s drop a few keywords here: Scooter. Torture. Contra.
Comment by Ashpenaz — December 30, 2009 @ 11:20 pm - December 30, 2009
Halliburton. Your turn.
Comment by Ashpenaz — December 30, 2009 @ 11:22 pm - December 30, 2009
I notice you are already trying to redefine the argument to include “personal scandals” which includes anything the Huffington Post doesnt like about Cheney, but has nothing to do with the law. When it comes to the legal troubles, however, Cheney doesnt have any because he obeys the law, while Hillary, being corrupt to her very core like most Democrats, views breaking the law as an entirely acceptable means to her ends.
1. Scooter Libby is Scooter Libby, not Dick Cheney. Scooter got busted for misremembering minutia, and his conviction has NOTHING to do with Cheney.
2. Cheney did absolutely nothing illegal in regards to torture, and whats more, the vast majority of Americans, the laws and the Constitution support his positions no matter how much some douchebags may dislike it.
3. Contra? Do you mean Iran Contra? Dick Cheney was in Congress then and had nothing to do with it.
4. Halliburton. LOL. Halliburton is a corporation. They are still legal (in some sectors) despite Democrats corrupt, fascist seizure of industries left and right. Nothing illegal. Nothing unethical. Nothing scandalous. Nothing even inappropriate.
Meanwhile Hillary
Whitewater in which over a dozen Clinton associates went to jail, including a sitting governor, the Clintons direct partners, and in which the prosecutors say the problem is not that the Clintons werent guilty, but that they successfully mounted a campaign of hiding evidence and obstructing investigations.
Hillarys Rose Hill Law firm documents were subpoenaed in 1994, but were not found until 1996 when they were found illegally hidden in the White House residence.
900 FBI files on the Cintons political “enemies” found illegally in the Clinton’s possession.
Travelgate in which Hillary fired the entire non-partisan career staff of the White House travel agency in order to hire her corrupt cronies.
Insider-trading. Where Hillary was able to turn a $1,000 investment in cattle futures into a $100,000 profit. Something experts say is IMPOSSIBLE in normal trading.
Neglecting to report MILLIONS in dontations so that she could illegally hide those funds til the end of the campaign and flood the market with ads and her opponent would have no way to know about it.
Accepting millions in illegal campaign contributions from Norman Hsu
Chinagate, in which the Clintons sought and recieved illegal campaign contributions from CHina in exchange for giving the Chinese missile technology that now endangers Americans.
Pardongate….and on and on and ON!
Hell, she even stole the furniture, artwork, china and silverware on the way out!
Dick Cheney is a patriot who served this country honorably. Hillary Clinton is filthy, deeply corrupt white trash, who not only lies cheats and steals on a daily basis but who endangered Americans lives for personal gain.
And thats JUST SCRATCHING THE SURFACE!
Comment by American Elephant — December 31, 2009 @ 12:21 am - December 31, 2009
I don’t think the MSM has a clue about what matters, substantively, to the American people. One of the major magazines — I don’t remember which one — voted Michelle Obama the most interesting woman in the world because she supposedly has buff and sexy arms!
Her arms! Does anyone with an I.Q. greater than room temperature really care?
No wonder so many major print media organs are going broke. They have completely lost touch not only with America, but with reality. They are fiddling while the country burns.

Comment by Ashpenaz — December 31, 2009 @ 11:07 am - December 31, 2009
That’s about as good a reason as any Democrat ever has for voting. But at least you aren’t trying to defend her demonstrably DEEPLY corrupt record.
Comment by American Elephant — December 31, 2009 @ 3:49 pm - December 31, 2009
Ahhh, that takes me back to the 2002 Florida gubernatorial race. Both Bill McBride and Janet Reno ran on the “I’m not Bush” platform. That’s all they had. Hell, Reno had an old red pickup truck, but didn’t have a website until 2 weeks before the election. She kept talking about “When my website is up, it will say….“.
Anyways, neither of them had anything going for them except, as if it mattered, their last name wasn’t Bush. They both thought that’s all they needed.
Comment by ThatGayConservative — January 1, 2010 @ 6:07 am - January 1, 2010
Where the hell is Hillary these days? She has to be the most ‘castrated’ Secretary of State in our nation’s history. Obama sent Bill Clinton to North Korea and plans on sending John Kerry to Iran while shipping Hillary off to speak to high school students in the nether regions of the Congo. Pretty much says all you need to know about what Obama truly thinks about her. Fact is, no one loathes President Obama more than Hillary Clinton. I would not be surprised if she runs against him in the Democratic primaries in 2012.
Comment by Sharp Right Turn — January 1, 2010 @ 8:16 am - January 1, 2010
LOL! so true.
And I think she might even be able to win that race, so disappointed are many Democrats becoming with the community organizer in chief.
BUT, in related news, Obama is quietly having the Democrat party “superdelegates” stripped of their super-powers precisely to avoid such an upset. I could be misinterpreting this, but as I understand the un-democratic Democratic primary system, “superdelegates” help the underdog, getting rid of them helps the incumbent.
Comment by American Elephant — January 1, 2010 @ 7:18 pm - January 1, 2010
Ooops, I meant to provide a link about that superdelegate bit.

… said Germans as they cast the lever for another statist liar, a more severe version of Hillary – namely Hitler.
But for my part, I never compare Hillary to Hitler because I believe Hillary is not honest: that she does rather a lot of pretending.
