   Not to change the subject, but – changing the subject – this is something I think deserves commentary by a site like this.

   As you may have read, Obama appointed the first(?) transgendered presidential appointment today – Amanda Simpson to be a Senior Technical Advisor to the Commerce Department. LINK

   I also note that you have been running this blog diva thing recently – where you give recognition to women who earn the respect of gays (well, a tiny minority of gays – lets be clear about that). Did I read correctly that you so honored Pam Geller last year?

   Well, this is what Ms. Geller had to say about the news today:

   “Does Obama know anyone who isn’t wacky, radical, militant, judeophobic, socialist, marxist, pedophilic? …… Does he chill with anyone who is normal?” LINK

   Now enlighten me please. How is it that you find someone like this to be worthy of respect – by anyone, let alone gays?
   Please tell me that you don’t REALLY believe that people like Geller or Malkin or the like are actually worthy of respect – you are just naming them to make liberals upset, right?

   This lady today seems like a first in a far more important way to me than her gender status …she actually seems qualified for the job, which is refreshing.

   Tano – re Amanda Simpson. The question is “is she qualified for the job?”. I don’t think her plumbing, original or modified, is germane.

   Translation: How can you respect someone who DARES to oppose and ask questions of the Dear Leader Chairman Maobama???

   The question is, Turdo, how is it that you find someone like that to be worthy of respect – by anyone, let alone gays? He surrounds himself with wacky, America hating, racist, sexist, bigot, homophobic, radical, militant, judeophobic, socialistic, marxist, pedophilic criminal assholes (some all rolled into one) and yet you STILL have your lips firmly planted on his nutsack.

   How does that work? How much self-hatred does it take to do that?

15. Oh, and while we’re giving out web assignments – Tano: Charles Johnson of LGF appeared recentely on Bloggingheads and claimed that GOProud was dropped from CPAC and that this was proof of their homophobia.

    Both premise and conclusion were false. Contact him immediately and correct him! LOL

19. Call me a luddite, but I’d rather hear an ideal, perfect voice in my head reading these posts rather than your actual voice. The “mind’s ear” – perfect pitch, inflection, tone that one hears when reading a piece of music. Or a well-written blog such as these.

    OTOH, I’ve been exhibiting a lot of bad judgment lately and will probably have to see the error of my ways!
