  3. Since deficits and other “stimulus” create goods and jobs, according to Paul Krugman, then why aren’t we sending $1,000,000 to every American family? And running deficits of $1 quadrillion? Why not?

  7. Today auto sales for December were released. More and more bad news for the Obama administration.
    Obama run GM minus 10%
    Obama run Chrysler minus a whopping 36%
    Independently owned Toyota PLUS 23%
    Independently owned Ford PLUS a huge 33%
    Congratulations to the privately owned, non govenment bailed out
    companies of Ford and Toyota.
    How’s that cash for clunkers working out for ya?

  8. The Bush deficit of FY2008 was actually the result of Democrats taking over the Congress in 2007. FY2008 was the first budget authored by a Democrat majority Congress in this century, and it immediately quadrupled the previous year’s deficit. It would have been worse, but Bush vetoed the expansion of S-CHIP to affluent middle class families. The Democrats completed the expansion of S-CHIP under Barack Obama.
