I wonder what Michael Moore has to say about this

January 11, 2010 by B. Daniel Blatt

CUBAN DOCTORS defecting to the U.S. via Venezuela.

Maybe he’ll include this tidbit in the extended edition of this movie.

Moore did not visit the real hospitals in Cuba. He went to the high-tech hospital available for the elite. The conditions in the hospitals that are available for the poor are horrendous by comparison to what is available in USA and especially in Australia. Moore lied.

Can we send them Michael Moore in exchange? Pound for pound, hes probably worth at least 5 Cubans.

I toured a chicken “processing” facility recently and I notice a huge container with “Michael Moore” stenciled on it. I asked what was in it, and the owner replied: “chicken guts.”

It turns out they are flash frozen and sold to …… Cuba! There they have a way to serve them up. The owner told me that they break even on the shipping, but they are money ahead by not having to dispose of the waste locally.

The bad news is that they are experimenting with a new complex of machinery that reduces the waste to oil, minerals and water. The oil is capable of powering the process and the machine complex may be as cost efficient to own as continued flash freezing and shipment to Cuba.

He said the chicken guts were called “Michael Moore” for reasons too obvious to state.

You recently toured a chicken processing facility? You and I have WAY different ideas on fun things to do on a weekend.

Hmm… Let me try the Talking points:

The doctor didn’t ‘flee’ Cuba. They left to take their education, given and paid for by the state, to a greedy capitalist hospital and work for them, so they could cut off feet and cut out tonsils for gross profits. The fact that they left sick people in Cuba says enough about their true intent and meaning.

There, now TanoLevibobgillie doesn’t need to post.

    Livewire, you forgot…

    Also, it’s Bush’s fault.

Now Tardo and the Short Bus Gang don’t need to respond.

    V the K,

Being paid to be there was no small part of the deal!

Spurious reigns here. Moore’s argument was about quality and cost of healthcare. You’re talking about people trying to come to the US–aren’t they criminals in your mind? You know, they are breaking the law and all…

Actually, it’s legal under the wetfoot/dryfoot policy sean.

And Moore was toting the quality and cost of Cuba’s health care. So if it’s so good, why do they want to leave?

Can we get a better quality troll here? This one’s broken.

sean – next time you’re seriously ill, perhaps you can see about getting better care in Cuba. You can catch a flight to Havana from Toronto.

Sean can’t tell the difference between Mexico and Cuba. I thought it was Palin who was supposed to be ignorant about geography and international politics?
