A very small and clever politician…whom I DON’T count Pres. Obama as…would dispatch his DOD Sec’y. and several sympathetic senior serving flag officers quietly to the Hill to the Republican Senators carrying the message that it’s not the 1990′s any more and that the DOD can competently handle this transition. Rather than work the Democratic-side of the aisle, work on a few key moderates on the Republican-side, the Democrats will follow once they have the political cover. Emphasis the cost-savings and the basic-equality and national security aspects…rather that just attempt to soft-coat the shower-action fears.

The Supreme Court has not, to my knowledge, ever played party time with the White House. The Supreme Court has, on occasions, hosted a get together at the court.

I admire the Courts fidelity to the

separation of powers between the Supreme Court and the White House and the Capitol. It should remain that way. I do not have it in me to believe that a little cheese and bubbly is enough to patch up what Obama did in his offensive court bashing and his ignorant stupidity in railing about a decision in words that can only prove that he is full of septic tank remains.

The Supreme Court should make attendance at the State of the Union optional and they should be permitted to file out when aspersions are cast upon them.

There is nothing to parallel this “indiscretion” since the vaunted FDR tried to bury them alive.

Liberals are so arrogant that they have forgotten the value of common decency.
