Sorry, but all surgery carries risk. Numerous cancer patients end up with “nicked” organs in radiation therapy. Laparscopic gallbladder surgery is preferred because it is not so invasive as laying the belly wide open and going in with gloved hands. But, it is not robotics and without its own set of dangers.

When you go into necessary surgery, there is always risk involved. If you want to eliminate the risk, I suggest you pray your way to health or wish upon a star.

Obamacare might have ruled that a 77 year old man with a beer gut was not really useful to society in terms of ponying up for removing a gall bladder. They might have prescribed pills to ease the pain and let the old horse out to pasture.

As for the OP, well, is it really any surprise?

But, why did she feel the need to say that, instead of focusing on the life she believes people should celebrate.

Honestly? I think that it’s because Democrats can’t let go of their prejudice, even in the face of death. I’d be pleasantly stunned to find that Ms. Crider cares one whit about Murtha. She’s trying to leverage his death to give the Democratic party the high ground; if she can make the Republicans out to be a bunch of playground bullies, then so much the better for the left.

But she made the mistake of believing her own propaganda; Russell’s call for prayer and his moratorium “on all political media activity for the next five days in respect of the passing of John Murtha” has pulled the rug out from underneath her quite neatly, I’d say. Now she just looks like a sullen, whiny kid. I don’t expect us to be hearing from her again for a while.

Jack Murtha was one of the most corrupt, sleazy, self-absorbed, traitorous Congressmen since the ABSCAM days. Oh wait! He was there, too!!
