<i>It’s like when your a kid in school. When someones spits on, hits you, etc. yet you constantly try to be their best buddy. Any therapist is going to look at that kid and say you know what he has self esteem issues</i>

Again, the funny part is watching you and your fellow bigot leftist gays like Evan Hurst and Wayne Besen calling us filth, Jewish Nazis, kapos, wingnuts, self-loathing and so forth as you try to argue about how "badly" Republicans and conservatives treat us.

You like the metaphor of domestic abuse. Are you aware that your behavior -- telling us how everyone hates us, how no one else cares about us, how you're the only option we have, and how we deserve all the names and whatnot you throw at us -- are classic behaviors of an abuser?

I don't wish death on anyone. That is mean spirited. The point I was making to David is a valid one. If you consider yourself a gay conservative and you aren't fighting for marriage rights than semantically he is not your husband hence the contradiction. Try to fill out any legal form and put as your relationship husband and see how far it gets you. Legally guess what it's not.
As far the other things I posted. They were responses to some of the vile that you spewed and it was a response back to you. But some things I do stand by. It's like when your a kid in school. When someones spits on, hits you, etc. yet you constantly try to be their best buddy. Any therapist is going to look at that kid and say you know what he has self esteem issues

<i>Really? How am I making anyone elses life miserable? Tell me that.</i>

Let us quote the ways.

<i>So Mr. Conservative he isn’t your husband and if your brethern on here have their way it will never happen because you live in Louisiana.

The point is legally he isn’t his “husband” no matter what he calls him and if sites like this have their way it will always be the case under the mantle of state’s rights plain and simple. I can call my dog a horse but it doesn’t make him so. If you really want to call him your husband you should be fighting for that.

Having said that it is the mindset of those on here who have bought into the kool aid of the right

So when you are denied your right to see your husband as he lays dying then will be the time to fight. And don’t give me this BS that we have all the legal papers etc. I know of at least 2 gays where couples have had papers and were denied. The only way to insure that is to guarantee marriage equality throughout the US. If you are ignorant of the hundreds of rights denied you than you need to educate yourself.

Keep on living in your delusional world. You are like the little boys who are constantly trying to get daddy’s approval. I know the Republicans will love us please love us. Look what we did. Never acknowledging that daddy is a drunken bastard who beats you yet you keep coming back.

Boy I love to have the drugs you are on. Really they must be good ones to twist everything that is said into some warped version of reality that only the voices in your head understand.

You could care less about GLBT issues.</i>

Every single one of your posts has one purpose and one purpose only: to make other people feel bad about their beliefs, their lives, and their political affiliations. David talks about his relationship and you badmouth him for saying "husband". David mentions how long they've been together and you state that he doesn't care about his relationship because if he did, he would support leftist political causes. You call people "self-loathing" constantly because they don't agree with you.

And that's what makes this statement absolutely hilarious.

<i>You must be a real miserable person to vote for someone who feels that you are filth.</i>

And yet, despite you and <a href="http://www.truthwinsout.org/blog/2010/03/7400/" rel="nofollow"> your fellow bigot leftist gays like Evan Hurst</a> calling us filth, Jewish Nazis, kapos, wingnuts, self-loathing and worse, you expect us to start siding with <i>you</i>?

I've never been told to kill myself or that I was a worthless person by a conservative or Republican. I hear it all the time from gays like you. When you've seen the gay community wish death on Mary Cheney's children because they don't like her father or her political views, you realize very quickly that not only are they hypocrites, they're projecting their own hate onto others.

Really? How am I making anyone elses life miserable? Tell me that. You are actually extremely comical. You remind me of a gentleman I know well here in MD. Now he is not only gay but very involved in the BDSM community. The type of stuff that Republicans would absolutely revolt against. You think they demonize the GLBT community imagine their revolt for those in the fetish community. Yet this gentleman has supported every vile anti-gay Republican including those who have called the GLBT "disgusting, vile etc." Now you may not call that self loathing but to me that's the ultimate definition of self loathing. You must be a real miserable person to vote for someone who feels that you are filth. I imagine you are in the same boat.

<i>Is it possible that some of that money made possibility go back to the party if they don’t use it all sure but hopefully the money will be used mostly in their own campaigns.</i>

So, again, you haven't boycotted the Obama Party; you've just changed the way you launder the money you send them. We understand that.

And this was just precious:

<i>You could care less about GLBT issues.</i>

That depends on how you define it.

If you explain that as giving money and time to things that actually help people, regardless of their sexual orientation, then that's a false statement.

But, if you explain it as simply forking over money to Obama Party politicians who, as even you admit, lie to you constantly about their "support", then you're right, I really DON'T care.

What constantly amuses me about leftist gays like yourself is how transparently obvious it is that you don't care about these groups that you constantly wave as "justification" and have no intention of actually following the rules you try to impose on everyone else. Like heliotrope put it, it's all a power game of you trying to make up for your own insecurities and inadequacies by making everyone else's life miserable.

Boy I love to have the drugs you are on. Really they must be good ones to twist everything that is said into some warped version of reality that only the voices in your head understand. The money I talk about will go to candidates at all levels to use to run their campaigns. Is it possible that some of that money made possibility go back to the party if they don't use it all sure but hopefully the money will be used mostly in their own campaigns. When we work to get these people elected and work against those in either party who work against the GLBT community we are doing the right thing.
A perfect example is Blanche Lincoln. I will be sending money to Bill Halter's campaign someone who has earned the trust. For the record he is not supported by Obama of course the voices in your head tell you otherwise. Likewise my guess is any Republican who would earn my money would be opposed by the RNC anyway. Imagine that. See that's where you and I differ. See you blindly support the Republican candidates and expect everyone on either side work like you. You could care less about GLBT issues.

Ah, the hilarity.

<i>That’s why there is a current boycott of DNC, DCCC, Organizing for America and a lot of us are calling for boycott of HRC.</i>

Followed by:

<i>What I do see are certain Democrats who are and those individuals will get our money and support not the party itself.</i>

So you're allegedly "boycotting" and "punishing" the Obama Party by continuing to give Obama Party members your money -- which means they don't have to request as much from the central Party, which can then spend it on other Obama Party members.

And, since the Obama Party members to which you give your money can then turn and donate money to other Obama Party members who need it or send it to the Party apparatus, you have not in any way stopped, changed, or reversed the flow of money to Obama Party candidates; you've just used a different launderer. <b>The Obama Party is still getting your money regardless of your "boycott"</b>.

Since that is so obvious, I can only draw one of two conclusions: either you know that that is taking place and are lying to people about a "boycott", or you really are that uninformed.

It's probably both. Shills like John Aravosis, Wayne Besen, and others who are on the take from the Obama Party have gotten very good at manipulating uninformed and ignorant liberal gays. All they have to do is bash Republicans, wave a little bloody-shirt about "rights", and said liberal gays swallow whatever they say hook, line, and sinker.

And as for that "give to Republicans too", you would be giving money to the people who you claim are all physical abusers of gays, no exceptions.

In short, Tim W, your rhetoric and your statements completely contradict each other. You claim you're not giving money to the Obama Party and then later state proudly that you are. You claim that anyone who gives money to or supports Republicans is a self-loathing gay and delusional and then state that you would support and give money to Republicans.

This probably works in the Obama Party, where minority status is more important than intelligence, reason, and logic, but it doesn't fly anywhere else. All that gays like you do with your babbling is demonstrate to people that being gay makes you a liar or an idiot.

Your obviously mistake me for someone who is a big fan of Obama. You couldn't be more wrong. Unlike your characterization of him is a weak middle of the road moderate masquerading as a liberal. I'd actually prefer a liberal in the White House instead we got one masquerading as one scared of his own shadow. As I said I call it both ways. The Democrats have been too weak moving forward GLBT legislation while having their handout for our money. That's why there is a current boycott of DNC, DCCC, Organizing for America and a lot of us are calling for boycott of HRC. What we are doing is giving our money to candidates who are truly moving the ball forward with actions not words. If those candidates would be Republicans so be it. But as I said before I don;t see one Republican in Congress moving to repeal DADT or DOMA. What I do see are certain Democrats who are and those individuals will get our money and support not the party itself.

You are like the little boys who are constantly trying to get daddy’s approval.

Actually, I already have all the approval I need.

You, on the other hand, seem desperate to smear as many Republicans as possible while minimizing and spinning for your massa Obama.

Is that because you're afraid Obama won't like you any more if you don't do exactly what he says? Why do you support the massa Obama if, as you stated above, he regularly lies to you?

Is that because you’re afraid Obama won’t like you any more if you don’t do exactly what he says? Why do you support the massa Obama if, as you stated above, he regularly lies to you?

Please, Tim W, show me just how the GOP beats us.

We don't want politicians to do anything for the gay community; we want them to leave us alone so we can run our communities as we see fit. You spend enough time on this blog, yet remain oblivious to our basic ideas. Wonder why that is.

Keep on living in your delusional world. You are like the little boys who are constantly trying to get daddy's approval. I know the Republicans will love us please love us. Look what we did. Never acknowledging that daddy is a drunken bastard who beats you yet you keep coming back. And I'll admit Democrats aren't much better. They are the type of dads who say lots of nice things but really don't care. Given the choice I'd rather stick with the one who neglects me rather than the one who puts me in the hospital. When I have a choice I support 3rd party candidates more friendly or candidates who actually have done something to help the GLBT community. Unfortunately there has only been 1 Republican who has ever been that candidate. Of course the conservatives made sure he got no further than our county council.

<i>Your argument about changing the laws about wills etc. Is a red herring.</i>

Of course it is to you, because it would actually work. The point to you is not that the laws work, but that, as heliotrope again wisely put it, you play your meaningless power game that bolsters your own insecurities and inadequacies. Your whining about "rights" is just a means of rationalizing your own fascist tendencies to force your beliefs on everyone else.

"Self-loathing", heliotrope, is what gays like Tim W, who know they are inadequate and who are completely insecure, call gays who are not. Gays like Tim W are miserable failures who hate themselves and their own life, so to make themselves feel better, they try to tear down happy and contented gays like David and myself because our success and happiness are constant reminders that they didn't need to enslave themselves to leftist dogma and the Obama Party to have wonderful, worthwhile lives.

heliotrope,

This isn't Jeopardy, my friend. You don't need to state the answer prior to the question.

Apparently in Tim W's world Dick Cheney isn't a Republican. Also apparently despite the evidence of gays being tokens to the Democrats is to be ignored. Just like he ignores the evidence that Global Warming is a myth.

North Dallas,
Aren't we all high and mighty? You don't know me so don't pretend to know me. Like I won't pretend to know that you are a self loathing gay man who feels high and mighty while cutting people down like you sound. I have all the papers etc and have registered here in MD. The reason that is in effect because it was signed by a Democratic governor after the Republican governor before him vetoed it. Of course his lieutenant governor was no other than the current RNC chairman so don't give me shit about how Republicans are our friends.
That does me no good if I'm traveling on vacation. The registration does me no good. Your argument about changing the laws about wills etc. Is a red herring. When your partner is laying in a hospital dying you shouldn't have to provide papers to exert your rights. Marriage takes care of that.

Here's an even better one. Who wants to bet that Tim W hasn't entered <a href="http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2008/may/23/omalley-signs-bill-on-domestic-partners/" rel="nofollow"> a Maryland domestic partnership</a> yet?

And who wants to bet he's got a great spin for why he hasn't? You'd think that if he actually cared about his "partner", he would want to take advantage of this legal protection.

And once again, Tim W starts his yelling and whining that if you don’t support his leftist causes, your relationship is shit, your husband is shit, his career is shit, and you yourself are a self-loathing Jewish Nazi who doesn’t “fight” for the right things.

Moreover, this is a dead giveaway:

<i>And don’t give me this BS that we have all the legal papers etc.</i>

Translation: Despite having allegedly been with his "partner" for 22 years, who wants to bet Tim W has never once taken advantage of ANY legal protections, i.e. a will or health care power of attorney, that already exist?

Heliotrope nailed exactly why this is so often the case with Tim W and his ilk:

<i>Your view of gay marriage is warped into a meaningless power game that bolsters your own insecurities and inadequacies. Gay or not, my opinion of you is that you are barking up the wrong trees in your effort to get a life.</i>

It would be virtually instantaneous to introduce a Federal law that clarifies and codifies a universal standard for wills and powers of attorney. It is a matter of a few strokes of a pen to change the tax code to eliminate the imputed income penalty on domestic partner benefits. It's already perfectly feasible to set up trusts and limited partnerships that allow simple transference of wealth and assets regardless of relationship.

But it doesn't carry the antireligious, anti-establishment, finger in your face, special treatment that Tim W and his ilk want. It would get results, but it would do so without pissing other people off - so Tim W and his ilk are not interested.

Tim W is nothing more than a gay version of Al Sharpton. Treat him accordingly and pity his "partner".

Tim, obviously you and I don't believe the same things, so there is little point in further discussion. I have no interest in trying to argue with you. I am satisfied the legal documents we have in place will work as they are designed. They already have several years ago when I was involvled in a serious auto accident. Of course having a doctor for a husband may have helped. Who knows.

I will leave you with this thought. Have you ever considered the some of the "hundreds" of rights, might actually be freedoms which the government has taken away from us? I'll give you a hint. Think taxes.

So when you are denied your right to see your husband as he lays dying then will be the time to fight. And don't give me this BS that we have all the legal papers etc. I know of at least 2 gays where couples have had papers and were denied. The only way to insure that is to guarantee marriage equality throughout the US. If you are ignorant of the hundreds of rights denied you than you need to educate yourself.
