From an advocate of the party that has dominated the news in the last week via (1) a puerile, hate-filled mailer that has been denounced by basically everyone and (2) the most disgusting and groundless attack I can imagine, impugning a group of dedicated public servants as disloyal Al-Qaeda sympathizers, because they've worked on behalf of unpopular clients (one of the most fundamental tenants of our legal system). In all events, the virulent hate speech on Fox News in a single day (hell, they give Colbert and Stewart about 30 minutes of combined material worth of nuttiness to mock, daily!) dwarfs anything MSNBC could put out in a year ... let's move on to something real. Neither I nor anyone else should take any critique of any left wing speech seriously until you condemn Liz Cheney as an utter and complete embarrassment and disgrace to your party. I know one of the people whose character she's attacked, and he is a brilliant, dedicated, even-handed public servant. I don't recall PROMINENT Democrats going around claiming that Republicans are Al Qaeda sympathizers (in addition to the usual parade of claims of fascism, socialism, marxism, and so on that stream forth, unchallenged, from right wing leaders on a daily basis). You can bitch about the policies of the left, but anyone remotely objective knows that the discourse from the mainstream elements of the rights, let alone the fringe elements, is all about personal demonization and inflaming the basest passions grounded in fear, race, personal hatred, and innuendno, truth be damned. The depths to which the GOP leaders have descended in recent months truly shocks the conscience, even for the party that invented Swift Boating, Willy Horton, and the race-baiting of Jesse Helms and Strom Thurmand. Heck, your own party bosses said so in their leaked memo -- which I'm sure, if accurately described by the left, you would have characterized as just another example of left wing lies, paranoia, and hate -- too bad that in this case, the evidence speaks for itself!!! But really, that memo pales in comparison to Cheney, who has lowered the discourse to an all time low. I am not sure how much further she can sink, but I'd be embarrassed if she was someone who claimed to speak for my party, philosophy or principals. There is no equivalent on the left, not even remotely close. Thank God!

I had to endure racist comments from liberals and none from conservatives. The bottom line, just because one stands up for something that is nobel in a trendy sense doesn't make you in to a better person!

Obviously, this is an effort to make MSNBC look less than fair and balanced. In fact, it tries to make MSNBC look unfair and its people look unbalanced.

Can't we all just get along?

I read a poll in Offshore Fishermen Without Radios that 64% of one-legged widows have never even watched MSNBC. That conclusively proves within the range of a reasonable doubt that MSNBC does not reach everyone. Therefore, you can hardly make the point that Cheney and Halliburton did not carefully target MSNBC's reach to those who know how to fashion tin-foil hats on their own.

It's going to be a long, long, long decade for you guys. LOL, there is nothing so funny as someone trying to make Keith Oberman look irrational. Keep it up guys. Everybody here in the basement is giggling up a storm.

No doubt Levi, boob and/or ghillie will be along to defend it with the typically pathetic "Repubwicans are worser!!!!".

People are catching onto who the real racist, sexist bigot homophobes are.
