Does Crist REALLY Want To Go “There”?

Really, Governor Crist?  This is what you’ve sunk to?

Florida Governor Charlie Crist was on with Greta Van Susteren on Monday March 8. During the interview he accused Marco Rubio of going to salons and getting a back wax.

Sounds pretty gay, doesn’t it?  Speaking of gay Governor Crist…. is this really a topic you want to play around with?  You know there are a lot of rumors about you in the Florida gay community.

Chortling about back waxes might lead your political opponents (gay liberals) to bring up those rumors in the General Election.

So, Gov. Crist…. is this REALLY a wise move?

Republican Primary voters will be the ultimate judges…. but they should tread lightly.  We know what happens when gay liberals come after Republicans with gay rumors swirling around them.

UPDATE: Erick Erickson at RedState.com suggests we all pitch in and send Charlie Crist some back wax from Amazon.com.  PatriotPartner suggests Oompa-Loompa back wax, perhaps?

  5. So Crist said Rubio was off base complaining about the state of FLA spending BILLIONS buying back some everglades land from sugar companies. I’m sure Rubio didn’t think this was a good time for those kinds of expenditures. But Crist says that’s not a true example of who is the fiscal conservative. How much a hair cut is a better example of their differences. Now I see why Charlie is 20% behind Marco Rubio in the latest polls.

  7. Crist said he gets his haircut for $11 in St. Pete. TLH is 211 miles from St. Pete. Even without the entourage, that’s still an expensive haircut. Then factor in that he probably would have to get it cut every two weeks or so.

    Also:

    National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) Chairman John Cornyn said Monday that his endorsement of Gov. Charlie Crist in Florida’s GOP Senate primary was “selfish” and that the committee will not stand in Marco Rubio’s way.

  8. Oops guess I may have spoken too early.
    THe latest poll shows the conservative Rubio 32%, that’s thirty two points up on Crist. Guess the Senate race in FLA is over. Would Crist consider switching parties, becoming a democrat to take on Rubio? The very liberal K Meek might have a problem with that. As he expects a walk thru to the Democrat nomination. Meek is the slightly nutty, liberal Democrat Congress person.

  25. There’s a few of people who say they know that Crist is gay, but when you get down to the brass tacks, it’s just a guess. One previous “boyfriend” has a questionable background and is known to make up stories.
