I forgot, Levi also looks to child rapists as our artistic heroes, so I shouldn't be too surprised.

(Funny how Polanski's dropped off the radar again)

That's Levi's defense?

"Only some democrats knew, and who cares who they were?" Lord and lady bless, this is his pathetic arguement? The Democrats knew, but since no one reported it to anyone, it's ok?

In 2005, the inappropriate e-mails came to light on Foley. He was lectured and told to stop. The e-mails weren't vile, those were the instant messages. The ones the Democrats knew of and didn't use until it was expedient.

But hey, to Levi, lying under oath to a Federal Grand Jury is 'just about sex'. That is if there's a (D) after their name.

Things Levi won’t tell you:

Democratic insiders say Pelosi’s office took no action after Racalto expressed his concerns about his then-boss in October.

I have addressed this directly already. The October complaint mentioned not one thing about sexual impropriety. Sweating.... oooh. She should have moved heaven and earth because he was swearing, is that what you're saying?

January 2009 Levi. The most ethical congress ever let these antics go on without investigation for over a year.

There is no indication that they knew anything and until there is, you don't get to keep saying things like that. The article you mentioned cited rumors - an easy thing to say after everything has been exposed. Who was circulating these rumors? Were they widespread? Was there reason to believe them? Was it among staffers or did other representatives know? Your article doesn't explain and includes a few lines of vague gossip.

Did the Republicans act on the sin of ommission with Foley? National Review says likely. Did the Democrats exploit Foley’s sexual orientation for political gain? Camile says so.

The sin of omission? How about complicity and willful covering up?

No one exploited Foley's sexual orientation. Were Democrats running around saying "Foley is gay, so vote for us?" I don't remember any of that. What they might have said was "Foley might be trying to have sex with kids and the GOP leadership seems to have been trying to cover it up, so vote for us."

Did the democrats know about it before and not say anything? as of July 2006 yes.

Which Democrats? Was it anybody important? Was it anybody even in the Congress? I've never seen any indication that anyone that had any power to escalate matters was aware. However, we know that John Boehner and other top Republicans knew and tried to sweep it under the rug.

If Dem leaders were held to the same standard as regular business people...Massa upper management would be liable for heavy fines and jaill time for excusing his actions and taking no corrective action. Massa's aides could get huge settlements for their lack of action.

The liberal Democrats stink to high heaven. This will be a huge election issue. The stink on the Potomac.
Cover ups, harrassment, illegalities. Massa, Rangel, Conyers, where will it end.

Fact is that action was taken as it became known to the Republicans.

Second fact is that the democrats knew about it with Massa, and with Foley well before and did nothing until it was expedient.

If the Democrats thought Foley was inappropriate, they should have said something when they knew. They didn't.

Things Levi won't tell you:

Democratic insiders say Pelosi’s office took no action after Racalto expressed his concerns about his then-boss in October.

Hoyer’s aides say he was informed of sexual-harassment allegations against Massa by Ron Hikel, another Massa aide, Feb. 8 and gave the New York Democrat’s office an ultimatum: Take the charges to the ethics committee within 48 hours, or Hoyer would.

I don't like Stenny Hoyer, but I'll give him credit, he pushed SanFranNan into acting.

Nancy Pelosi:
"“I asked my staff, I said, ‘Have there been any rumors about any of this before?’” Pelosi said last week. “There had been a rumor, but just that, no formal notification to our office that anything — a one-, two-, three-person-removed rumor that had been reported to Mr. Hoyer’s office that had been reported to my staff, which they didn’t report to me, because, you know what? This is rumor city. Every single day there are rumors. I have a job to do and not to be the receiver of rumors.” "

January 2009 Levi. The most ethical congress ever let these antics go on without investigation for over a year.

Did the Republicans act on the sin of ommission with Foley? National Review says likely.
Ah, Levi’s new tactics,

Ignore facts when presented.

So as long as they’re adults, inappropriate behaviour and frakking is fine?

Just toss in some mass graves and Levi’s happy.

How is it possible that I ignored the facts? I copied and pasted only the most relevant and specific information that was linked. None of those things seem nefarious, and none of those things give any indication that Massa was touching people inappropriately.

What about the facts you're ignoring? As in the facts that GOP house leadership was covering for a pervert and thereby putting underage teenagers in harm's way?

Massa was living with several aides, had hired too many staff members and used foul language around his staff.

That isn't exactly earth-shattering stuff. Probably inappropriate, but hardly illegal. And nothing like sweeping the fact that a member of your caucus is sexting underage pages.

Yes, Levi, the house took swift action on Massa, didn't they.

And lets not forget Dan Sutton or how they sat on the Foley issue to use it for political capital. Hmm, kind of like Foley.

All they need to do is slaughter children and they'll have earned the trifecta of Levi support.

I don't know how this Massa thing is bad for the Democrats. It was Democrats who are responsible for getting him out of Congress and telling the country about his misdeeds. Seems like a really good example of them cleaning up their own shop. It's not like the Foley or Ensign scandals, where top Republican leadership knew about their improprieties for months and tried to keep them secret. I think it makes them look pretty good.

Oh, but you'd like to complain about Rahm Emmanuel sweating, well okay. That seems so diabolical.... I guess....

It also made Glenn Beck look like a total moron and completely undercut his and other conservatives' ridiculous conspiracy theories about how the Democrats are conducting themselves. These guys are ruthless political operatives twisting peoples' arms and using every dirty trick in the book, they're actually pretty mundane and ineffectual. But at least to their credit, they did remove this weird crazy person from their midst.

This just in to add to the long long list of Democrat corruption...
powerful liberal Democrat chariman, no not Charlie Rangel, but John Conyers wife sentenced to more than three years in jail for BRIBERY.
What was it that Nancy Pelosi said about the Washington DC swamp?
Can we have another election, please, soon, huh?

[...] The Democrats’ Bad Week Gets Worse As details emerge about former Rep Eric Massa’s (D-NY) misdeeds, he becomes the latest embarrassment for the Democrats. His stories about Rahm Emanuel may tend toward exaggeration, but now that he is getting attention throughout the media, more and more people are learning about the Rahm with whom we on the right have long been familiar, the ruthless political operative who swears in public meetings and sends dead fish to pollsters who displeased him.
Pelosi is becoming the replacement for Biden (hard to imagine) as the Gaff Machine.
With comments like yesterdays asking to let the Health Care Bill pass so you can see what’s in it and We (Democrats in Congress) know what’s best for you (Citizens who Vote ) shows that they should follow her with a teleprompter. I could only imagine if Obama and Company spit out their dinner while watching these news clips.

Massa didn't say anything on the Beck Show.

I think he's done talking, because he doesn't want to get in any more trouble, because he's guilty.

"While Nancy asks Democrats to vote on faith, Politco reports that her grip on the House is slipping. Not the kind of headline you want when you’re trying to corral votes for unpopular legislation."

Small joke:

Nancy Pelosi convenes a meeting of all House Democrats and reveals her secret plan for passing ObamaCare:

"Okay, here's the plan: you're going to pass the Senate bill although it funds abortion, raises taxes, is 2500 pages long, will make health costs go up, is totally incomprehensible, the American public hates it, and will result in our losing both houses in the fall. Furthermore, if you don't vote 'yes', I will personally destroy your career. Why are we doing this? Because Obama needs a win! That's my secret plan. Now, are there any questions?

After much furtive glancing among the House members and uncomfortable shifting in their chairs, one congressman in the back of the room meekly raises his hand and says, "Madam Speaker, I have a question." Pelosi regally glowers at him and says, "And what is your question?" The congressman slowly stands, looks over both shoulders, pauses, and then says, "Madam Speaker, my question is....ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR F***ING MIND?"

A former Republican, he left his party over the issue of the Iraq War. . .wiki

somewhat amusing that he felt insecure when approached by the NAKED Rohm in the shower considering he is being accused of sexual harrassment.

The naked intimidation story rings true. Nudity can throw off the less comfortable person's balance in a confrontation. A weapon for the more hip thug against the square from the 60's. And it would be in character for what we know of Rahmbo. On the other hand, given Massa's self revealed character, we have only his discredited word for it.
