Okay, it’s belated. I had it roughed out that night…and then the next morning Michelle actually called into Beck’s show decidedly NOT gloating. Ah well.

  1. I don’t get it. Is that blood? Ink? Some other fluid?

  2. I’m grateful to Glenn Beck for giving Massa the rope to hang himself. Naturally, Beck would have rather had an hour of Massa throwing charges right and left, but Massa was “true to himself” instead. What a slime merchant that guy is. He did a good job of showing just how low a member of Congress can be.

I don’t really think that Beck was Massa-slimed. Instead, I think that Beck helped to clearly establish that in the muck and mire of Congressional politics that there are bottom feeders. Naturally, Rahm would school with them.

  4. It is nice, and a credit to Michelle and Glenn both that they handled the aftermath with grace and humility respectively.

  5. There is another angle. Massa truly is extremely slimy. However, the real angle is what Nancy Pelosi knew about Mass and when she knew it.

The real issue is that Pelosi had a file on Massa and she was prepared to use the information in order to try and either force him to change his vote or to force him out of the Congress.

Lucky for Mass he actually has a health excuse to leave the Congress.

There is no doubt that Massa is extremely slimy. However, I do think that Pelosi and Rahm Emmanuel together are slimier because they would stop at nothing to get their own way. They are also the ultimate in hypocrisy.
