General Electric, the corporate home of countless Obama mouthpieces and financial backers, has put up a website honoring President Ronald Reagan’s 100th birthday (next year). This must be a sign of the end of times!
The Official Reagan Centennial Website is HERE.

Obama compared himself to Reagan during the campaign despite the fact that he is the ANTI-Reagan, doing his best to reverse all the success and prosperity Reagan’s policies began, and return us to the doom and gloom of the progressive heydays — otherwise known as the Jimmy Carter years.
Orwell taught us that socialists will stop at nothing to re-write history because history isn’t on their side. And that’s what we see going on today.
“God I miss voting for that man!”

Sorry, I should have pointed out what I was talking about…. the ad headline trying to tie Reagan in to progressivism.
As IF! Ronald Reagan brought us REAL progress by REMOVING the shackles of “progressivism”.
Their never ending Orwellian propaganda boils my blood.
It’s pleasing to see GE’s headline, “A Legacy of Progress”. It harks back to the days when “progress” meant economic development and technological progress – and when such progress was considered a good thing.
I was at Disneyland this past weekend – anyone remember Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress? It’s not there anymore of course. A pity. Now we live in an Orwellian world where self-appointed, so-called “progressives” treat economic and technological progress as being somehow evil.
(continued) But once upon a time, Americans routinely celebrated it.
(continued) And Reagan was among such Americans. It’s pleasing to see GE get this one right.
I hate hate hate to say this, but well-played move by GE. The Jon Stewart audience will fail to see through this ruse and continue buying the into the party of no meme. “See! Cons will even disagree with Obama when he’s emulating their saint!!1”
Ed Morrisey had an interview with a GE guy at Hot Air and they are apparently throwing a lot of money around.
Also of note: they found a mess of never-before-seen footage of Ronaldus Magnus that they will be unveiling at the centennial.
Best wishes,
