  1. As someone that we admire once said, “Tear down this wall.”

It’s now game on across this country. We must become active to defeat Democrats at all levels: U.S. Senate, House, Governor and those Democrats at the local and state levels.

Remember, state legislative races are huge in November because reapportionment will occur next year after the census. The Party in control of state houses controls how districts are drawn.

  2. I was just out running. I passed a newspaper rack. Four separate papers, all had headlines blaring the word “historic”. Anyone else notice that? And the implicit blessing/endorsement it confers?

Obamacare is indeed historic – for all the wrong reasons. It’s historic like, say, Hitler or Stalin were historic.

First, in its economic aspect, it is literally fascism. In its economic aspect, the program of fascism is to maintain a fig leaf of private property ownership, but burden citizens with mandates, taxes, regulations, programs and controls to the point where freedom is effectively destroyed; government bureaucrats control the citizens’ decisions. Fascism grew out of a ‘grass roots’ movement (in Italy) which advocated doing exactly that. And that’s Obamacare.

Second, if -any- of the forms of Obamacare advocated by the Democrats is allowed to stand and to be carried out, it will destroy American medicine, bankrupt America, destroy businesses, and end both in medical rationing and 20% unemployment. It is indeed “historic” – but in no good way.

  3. I’m sorry, but I don’t agree. We must vote against every single Democrat period, whether or not they voted for this bill. Every single one of them is horrible. There simply are no decent Democrat politicians, not one. There are many decent people registered as Democrats, but not a single politician.
