Ok, so I’ll be first to admit this’d probably be more enthralling to read rather than to listen to. But this is by far one of the most incredible and accurate assessments of what’s going on lately in Washington (h/t, NRO):

Fantastic!!!
McCotter is the most eloquent, entertaining spokesman for Conservatism. As a speaker, he leaves You Know Who in the dust.
BRAVO!!
I hope whoever has the top dresser drawer open and the little velvet cases out and is resupplying the Republicans their balls, doesn’t run out of stock.
Youknow what….Barack Obama is suppose to be the President of all the people. He is the President of left and right alike. Does he nurture Pharma companies, health care companies, independents, gun rights groups? Is he the President of farmers, and oil executives and railroad workers? He has marginalized himself and really is only the President of 35% of the country. He’s done it to himself. They have the big gavel for 7 more months. The sheer power. The message of easy and lite hope and change seems so far away now doesn’t it. America will never be fooled like this again.
Is Barack Obama an anti semite?

Gene, why not? We know he’s anti American, why not be anti Semitic as well?
20 years of Rev. Wright haven’t gone to waste.
#6 Obama treats the Jewish PM 100% worse than Iran, Chavez, Castro, after all which leftist thug hasn’t Obama bowwed to?
Obama made Netanyahu leave the White House the same way the Dali Lama left. The back door with the trash bags thrown all over. Jews Buddhist monks….same diff.

Some might regard his delivery as lackluster. Despite the intelligent eloquence of the text. I wonder if that was deliberate. A few months ago I gave a talk in which my “big powerful devastating quote” was spoken softly. My wife said “it was all the more powerful because you did not shout it”. A speech professor said as much to me after I did make an angry comment with an edge in my voice. He suggested saying the exact same thing but without the edge and with a smile. See who then can accuse this Congressman of an incendiary speech given in a manner so calm even “boring”? Then the words speak for themselves. And they are the only thing that draws attention.
Depending upon your taste, Thad is one of the finest speakers in Washington. I find his tone sobering and reverent, others find it monotonous. For the uninitiated, you should really check him out on Red Eye w/Greg Gutfield sometime. He has a positively wicked sense of humor.
