In 2005, the company I worked for scheduled a major conference for September in New Orleans. This year, the company I work for scheduled its corporate conference for Nashville in June.

I am beginning to think I’m a jinx.

I don’t like most modern country music, but I grew up on Bluegrass, old country, Johnny Cash, Kenny Rogers, et. al. The amount of history lost, the amount of lives lost…
