BREAKING – Al and Tipper Gore to Divorce

June 1, 2010 by Bruce Carroll

Reports are coming into Twitter at this hour, from mainstream reporters, that Al & Tipper Gore have told friends that they are ending their 40-year marriage.

I have also heard through one of my underground sources that Tipper found Gore screwing Mother Earth in their 28,000 foot mansion in Nashville. I’m trying to see if there is a sex video.

You do realize that the Gore’s pending divorce is Bush’s Fault(tm) right??

UPDATE (From Nick): Good Grief… How I dread the thought of having to go to his house to be told what to drive, and her house to be told what music to listen to. The Holidays are going to be a HUGE pain in the ass. Of course, as always, it’s the kids who suffer the most.

I don’t blame her one bit.

Seriously, if my spouse had gone from being a relatively normal human being to a crazed would-be eco-messiah, I’d leave them, too.

I honestly think that Al did break down mentally after losing the election.

He is a cow.. Cows make methane… Methane causes global warming… I hope she is trading in for a newer model. Something a little sleeker. More aerodynamic.

I’m trying to decide how sorry I should feel. I mean, would you feel sorry if Stalin divorced? Gore is not as bad as Stalin; Gore has not rounded up and shot millions. Still, Gore has indulged his personal form of insanity and spread no small harm, in this world.

    Yes, including my own. 😛

Someone made a comment on twitter that its only really shocking that the Gore Marriage ended before the Clinton Marriage.

  13. Leslie says

wow, it only took her 40 years to realize she was married to a hypocritical windbag!

    June 1, 2010 at 2:47 pm - June 1, 2010

Well, this puts the last nail in the coffin of Global Warming. Even Tipper has finally come to the conclusion that this old large, stiff lump of polar ice cap is going to warm up after 40 years.

Back around 2000 or so, I made the acquaintance of someone who was in charge of the ground maintenance on Air Force 2. There were plenty of rumors about Al Gore’s Roman Hands and Russian Fingers with regard to the young women assigned to AF2’s flight crew. He knew of one young Air Force officer who had been reassigned when she threatened to make a formal complaint about the Vice President’s inappropriate behavior.

What is it about money, power, fame, etc. that makes men want to have sex with as many people as they possibly can?

    (joke… South Park reference)

  18. Countervail says

    June 1, 2010 at 5:20 pm - June 1, 2010

Well I guess it just takes the divorce of someone on the opposite side of the political fence to show just how hypocritical conservatives are on “family values.” I was hoping to see some compassion for some aspect of their relationship, that they actually managed to stay together for 40 years for example, but instead I see it’s just a convenient opportunity to condemn a political opponent.

Well I guess it just takes the divorce of someone on the opposite side of the political fence to show just how hypocritical conservatives are on “family values.”

Why? Liberals don’t hold themselves to that standard, or any other for that matter.

Honestly, I’m hate that any marriage breaks up. I also hate to see anybody’s emotional state go into a tailspin just because they failed to steal an election. Kinda wish he had spent more time on his marriage rather than flying around the world telling us how WE should live OUR lives.

The left can say anything nasty they want about Sarah Palin, like they hope her daughter gets raped, or they hope she gets gang-raped, or they hope she has a stroke, or they can make fun of her Down’s Syndrome son.

But if I make even the slightest comment about the Al Gore Divorce, I’ll be labeled the bad guy.

Well I guess it just takes the divorce of someone on the opposite side of the political fence to show just how hypocritical conservatives are on “family values.”

How is this hypocritical? The Gores are being treated exactly the same way that liberals like yourself treat Republican couples.

The problem here is that Countervail, as is typical for a minority member, can dish, but can’t take. Since Al Gore told lies about Sarah Palin and trashed her marriage as part of the Obama Party, he can have the same thing done to him.

  22. Gene in Pennsylvania says

    June 1, 2010 at 7:21 pm - June 1, 2010

Wonder if we will hear how “happy” their marriage was, then we can compare it to the fraud of the Edwards marriage.
I am glad Tipper held on for the last 4 or 5 years, this way she is going to get a helluva lot more after ALGORE fleeced so many with his “energy credit swaps”.

  23. ILoveCapitalism says

    June 1, 2010 at 8:37 pm - June 1, 2010

Countervail == THIN. SKIN. And perhaps a bit nutty, as the comment makes no sense, even trying to take it as a jab.

CBS News blames Bush for Gore Divorce. I sh-t you not.

CBS News: “It’s been ten years since that oddly public passionate kiss at the Democratic convention. That was followed by Gore winning the popular vote for President but losing the electoral vote. Family friend Sally Quinn says that may have done the marriage irreparable harm.”

  26. ILoveCapitalism says

    June 1, 2010 at 11:11 pm - June 1, 2010

I conspired with Bush to steal votes in Florida 2000 and that makes it all worth it.

LOL Nasty comments but no more nasty than the liberals will be when the Bushes announce their divorce. I can’t say that I care. Seriously how did Americans get so obsessed with everyone else’s private business?

Seriously how did Americans get so obsessed with everyone else’s private business?

When everybody decided it was their civic duty to share their private business with everyone. Probably when liberals decided it was archaic to keep such business at home.

You can’t demand people stay out of your bedroom when you’re busy bringing your bedroom to everybody.

  36. Houndentenor says

LOL. That’s not what I meant. The posts here are about public policy issues mostly. I do care about those. It’s news when a couple gets married or gets divorced. They why of it? None of my business. I felt the same way about Sandra Bullock’s recently problems. She seems like a nice person and even if she wasn’t she doesn’t deserve to have her marital problems dragged across the cover of every supermarket tabloid. And no I didn’t read them but you could hardly buy groceries without seeing it since it was on every cover.

And no, I have not shared my private personal business here. I’m gay. Just the same as the bloggers who created the site? Have a problem with them too?
