Michael Moore has been “elected to the board of governors that oversees the Oscars.

  1. This is an affront to the memories the likes of Jack Warner and Samuel Goldwyn. Such people of Hollywoods golden age took film making very seriously and knew of the powerful impact their industry had on society in general. Yes, they had their faults, but you can’t discount people like Louie B. Mayer who was the first studio head to desegregate the MGM commissary long before the civil rights moment ever took hold!

Now the political left has become so anti-Semitic, they’d be looking for ways to destroy the character of Jack Warner. Mr. Warner was such an outspoken critic of anti-Semitism in Europe in the ’30′s!

  2. And yet, whenever I point to Michael Moore as an example of an America-hating, progressive socialist whackjob, the other America-hating progressive socialist whackjobs insist that he is “fringe.”

  3. If it’s all about the deceptive documentary qualifier, is Al Gore next?

  4. Only if the deceptive documentary is anti republican/conservative vitriol. If it was anti liberal/socialist the filmmaker would be run out of town on a rail.
