February 18, 2009: Attorney General Eric Holder calls USA a “nation of cowards”
July 13, 2010: NAACP Passes Resolution Condeming “Racism of Tea Parties”
Passed on the fourth day of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People’s annual convention in Kansas City, the resolution also urged people to oppose what it said was the tea party’s drive “to push our country back to the pre-civil rights era.”
“We feel it’s very important that we educate our membership about the tea parties,” said Anita Russell, head of the Kansas City branch of the NAACP, as the debate on the resolution began. “We are concerned that there is a racist element within the tea parties.”
Mr. Attorney General… who are the cowards now?
RELATED STORY: The Racism of the NAACP – BigGovernment.com
In the short history of the Tea Party there has been one racist incident, one, and it was a Tea Party protester who was the victim. The NAACP has abandoned its mission and become a partisan political organization.
Sadly the NAACP has forgotten the words of Dr. Martin Luther King:
This is our hope. This is the faith with which I return to the South. With this faith we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope. With this faith we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood. With this faith we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day.

Obama, the Obama administration, and the Obama Party fully endorse, support, and agree with this resolution.
That needs to be hammered home to every single voter in this country. The NAACP is Obama. It is an Obama Party organization, it does what the Obama Party orders, and its words fully reflect the Obama Party position.
They are the new ACORN
It’s nice that there’s a group that combines hating the Tea Party movement and the gay marriage movement. It must save on mailing costs.
Am I racist if I just don’t feel like I’m supportive of the black community anymore?
Yes Ash you are, and you’re becoming more of an asshole every time I read your posts. We have a number of great black American Republican candidates running and you need to get over your stupidity and back candidates who agree with conservative/libertarian regardless of their color. We need black American conservatives and they need us.
conservative/libertarian ideals, my bad
The left has long been the home of McCarthyism, and this simply takes it to a new height. These people are obsessed with race.
It’s also why Obama will be a one-term president.
When Obama sees that he will lose the election of 2012, he will turn sour, and will make ugly comments about his country. He never did like us, and only saw the U.S. as an entity upon which he could impose his vision. When we reject him he’ll reject us.
Would it be racist to vote for candidates I agree with, regardless of their color, unlike you?
Would it be racist to vote for candidates I agree with, regardless of their color, unlike you?
Oh really? You think the only reason that anyone voted against Obama was that they were a racist?
Wait. Since you claimed you supported Hillary and presumably voted for her in the primaries, doesn’t that make you a racist?
And also, Ashpenaz, your statement essentially translates to, “Vote for the black person or you are a racist.”
You do realize that expecting people to automatically vote on the basis of skin color is perhaps the most racist thing of all, don’t you? And yet you throw it out there freely.
Will?
Keep in mind the ultimate goal of Barak Obama, Eric Holder and company. This lot will call people “cowards” who do not want to “address” the racial history of the United States of America. The bait is to “dialogue.” Unfortunately, when the “dialogue” begins, they will become “professionally offended” for the downtrodden afro-americans and then scream “I told you so, you are racist” in the middle of the dialogue. Mark my words.
The NAACP are racist bigots!
Hypocrisy and Racism are now an active part of the Progressive/Liberal lexicon, among the litany of routine charges to be trotted out whenever the left can’t come up with a substantive critique of conservative policies they oppose. Beginning with a steady drumbeat from the far-left blogosphere when Republicans opposed the health care legislation and progressive tax increases…… liberals, hell bent on distraction once again, are now attacking conservatives with accusations of being un-American, Racist, and….. God forbid, “Tea Partiers”.
I think Holder is saying we are “cowards” for not knuckling under to him and his racist friends. Submission is the new courage!
Bruce, would it be a violation of your commenting rules for me to say that the proper response to Holder is “f**k you, and the racist horse you rode in on”?
GP Ed. Note: Yes, but now that it is edited… it’s fine! 🙂
We all know that black people aren´t racist. They´re just bonding together in mutual support from the abuse of four hundred years of slavery. The fact that Lincoln´s Emancipation Proclamation was made over one hundred and forty seven years ago doesn´t count. The ending of segregation in the south, which southern Democrats opposed, doesn´t count. The fact that one of their own occupies the White House barely counts. The Republicans ended slavery and took them off the plantation. The Democrats reinstituted slavery with incentives (social programs) and instead of the plantation they now have the ghetto. For this they have rewarded the Democrats with their loyalty and votes. It is gratifying to see more and more African Americans opening their eyes and returniing to their roots, the Republican Pary.
