Fact-Free Prejudices Against Conservatives

On Wednesday, I wrote that when crafting their narratives about the right, many on the left dispense with the facts and adhere to their prejudices (about conservatives).  This morning, Glenn Reynolds links a video which provides further evidence of that mind-set: Protesters Claim Tea Party is Racist, Can’t Point to Any Evidence.

RELATED (also via Instapundit):  Left-wing blog uses clip of racist infiltrator at Tea Party, claims he represents Tea Parties.

  2. I read a Republican-on-Republican attempt (by Bill McCollum) to make his opponent (Rick Scott) guilty of something simply insinuating that having anything to do with Gays is wrong or non-conservative.

    What a dumb move!
Wish I could vote in FLA myself!

  3. GatewayPundit has a piece on how ThinkPropaganda couldn’t find racism in the TEA Parties, so they made a video with their own usurpers.

Nan, your link’s not working. Haven’t heard that, but Scott’s been running an ad about McCollum’s heavy use of the state plane and how he’ll sell it when elected.

  6. Well, I can’t say there’s never been a situation where a bunch of conservatives have been asked for evidence to back up some claim about liberals and failed to come up with something concrete on the spot. But I get your point. And indeed with the charge of racism, the left is typically incapable of coming up with anything specific.

The definition of racism these days seems to be “a conservative who is winning an argument with a liberal.”

  7. why stick with the facts when you can go along with any made-up reality you want to make your side look better?
