Bush & Obama’s Approval Ratings Set to Converge?
The latest RealClearPolitics average has President Obama’s approval dropping to 46.4. (Gallup has the Democrat at 46.) Julie Mason reports that “Former President George W. Bush has a 45 percent favorability rating . . . 10 percentage points higher than last year.” (Latter via Instapundit.)
Looks like it’s becoming less and less of a good idea for the Democrats to run against W.
UPDATE: At their respective ratings current rate of change, come November, W will be more well-regarded than his successor.

I want the Democrats to play the Blame Bush Card! President Bush had low unemployment–around 4.5%–compared to Obama’s 9.5% (10.1-10.5% without the rigged numbers). Plus the plethora of the Obama Democrat corruption just follows him like a shadow.
David Plouffe’s plan for Congressional Dems is to Blame Bush & play the race card. This entire plan is going to collapse.

You repugnants are in for seventy centuries of misery and eating your children and turning all your money over to Cheney, Haliburton and the feelthy, rotten capitalist vulture class.
Bwahahahahahahahahaha !!!!
Get a clue, repugnants and tax your way out of this and into prosperity. What next, not letting the BushchimpmonkeyHitler tax cuts for the rich leeches expire?
Raise the unemployed to union retirement status and get the economy booming again. Triple welfare, balloon the deficit and impose social justice on the middle class and greedy, stinking rich and the economy will crash into world class stability, fairness and equality.
Get with the program.

Why are the liberal socialist Democrats going to get routed in the fall?
Why is Obama and his ilk almost as unpopular as Bush 43 when he got fired?
This just today….
Charlie Rangel the crook, faces expulsion if he doesn;t quit first from a group it’s very difficult to get kicked out of…The Democrat caucus of the US Congress. When quizzed about the latest developments by a young reporter, Charlie does everything but slug the guy for asking. (Typical by hyper Dems lately).
Obama anounces by 2012, 4 years after he took office, his people were going to cut in half one years 100 BILLION DOLLARS IN misspent government money!!!!!!Checks sent out to people and purveyors who aren’t suppose to get them. ($100 BILLION EVERY YEAR) After year 4 he was going to save $50 BILLION of an annual theft!!!
Obama plunders the federal coffers for another $38 Billion for unemployment benefits. After his announcement of 3 months ago about PAYGO.
Obama said he had a good week.
Any boobs this outta touch deserve to get fired.

Are these the people who look like they are having fun, and going to hold their majorities in the House and Senate?
At least 80 year old Rangle didn’t man handle reporters like other socialist Democrats.

Gene, in Obama’s world he did have a good week. How many times did Obama golf this week given the weekend vacation?
Otherwise, with the race card blowing up on Obama’s face via his proxy–the NAACP with Shirley Sherrod thanks to Andrew Breitbart–the Dems are on defense. The Tea Party false race card has gone away thanks to Andrew Breitbart, until October at least.

True, true,
the biggest announcement of the week……
Michelle and Barack schedule ANOTHER VACATION for early August.

At least it took Bush 6 or 7 years to get to his low poll numbers, and that was as much due to Iraq and corruption by Republicans in Congress as anything else. Obama is headed there in less than two years. What an accomplshment

AND Bush’s numbers have nowhere to go but UP, as more and more people realize that things are getting worse because the people who f**ked things up in the first place are not the minority Republicans but the Democrat congress that is still in charge, while Obama’s numbers have nowhere to go but down as the megahyped “Obama” brand continues to come crashing down around the ruinous reality that is the Obama presidency.

OMG all next year the unemployment rate is to be 9% or higher so says the Obama Administration. What if they are wrong again on the low side?
These people are a disaster. Who voted for this guy?
If you are an Obama voter, please explain…..

My God, now more bad news for Obama. The truth is coming out….
He supported the release of the Lockerbee bomber and advised the Scots to release the bomber instead of imprisoning him. Good Lord. factor that into his approval ratings the next few weeks. With all the debate swirling around the past few weeks, since Camrons visit to the WH, why has this administration been keeping this a secret?
Guess the JOURNO LIST got together and decided not to cover the story.

Open senate seat in MO….
Blunt (R) beginning to pummel Carnihan (LD)
Obamas approval rating drops horribly to +34% in MO.
Do you think Obama will attack Iran before November elections?
Remember Clinton was known for shooting off missles before key dates.

The Republicans will make gains in November for sure. But I’m not sure they will win control of Congress – and I’m not sure I want them to – because I haven’t yet seen (m)any signs that they have their act together, or that the crisis facing America is yet deep enough.
History shows that Republicans “win big” only when they offer America a clear, small-government alternative to the ruling status quo. I’m thinking Reagan, and Gingrich 1994. (You could cite Nixon 1972 as an exception, but he ran practically as a Scoop Jackson Democrat – and then proceeded to get f*cked by Democrats. Same with Bush 2000. Bush 1988 would favor my point, because he ran on “Read my lips – No new taxes!”; no one knew yet that he was going to betray it.)
I haven’t yet seen a clear-cut, small-government platform from the Republicans, and here it is nearly August. That does not bode well. Furthermore, the roof is yet to cave in on America economically; the real financial crisis is still to come. That may mitigate the Republican win.
When the real financial crisis does come, I want Democrats to receive every bit of the blame that they will deserve for it. So, if the Republicans do “lose” this November (in the sense of only making gains, not sweeping Congress), I won’t be too depressed; I won’t assume it’s necessarily for the worst.
