OMFG!
I never knew that for all those years going to clubs that white gays were raising their hands when the dance diva hit and held a high note were doing a White Power salute, lol.

What a good point. And in fairness, I believe the left honestly feels that religion divides Americans (despite the fact that almost all Americans believe in God, and the vast majority of those are Christians) and so they offensively censor it out of pop culture entirely in order not to offend anyone.
So what they present as that which unites America is, by default, sex, drugs, murder, anger, corruption, pessimism, self-hate and, of course, a never ending stream of the liberal agenda.
And I’m sorry, but religion is less divisive, and much healthier than that any day of the week!

Sad shame about Tim McGraw being a liberal too, but Dan wrote a good piece just the other day about why entertainers are so overwhelmingly liberal. As youth is wasted on the young, so too is pretty often wasted on the dumb.

Everytime I go to a current Hollywood movie, I feel like I’m going to Veggietales for liberals–the message is so transparent that it usually spoils the movie. For instance, The Proposal, an otherwise funny movie, was ruined when I realized that the couple were building a relationship entirely without reference to God. In the Golden Age of movies, there’s be a church and a friendly, winking pastor somewhere.

It is such a burden to be the smart one AND the pretty one in the group!
Heck, I’d be happy to be the rich (and smart) one, for once!

heh. yes it is. (sounds like Holly Hunter in Broadcast News):
TV Exec: “It must be wonderful to always know you’re the smartest person in the room”
Holly: “No, its awful!”
