But… but… a GP commentor declared recently that the Tea Party is “sloganeering”, not a meaningful stand for liberty. And that its Palin-loving supporters are “snitwits”. And he is never wrong. I can tell because if I disagree with his comments, he’ll whine. That means his comments are right. Long story short: I’m confused! (not 😉 )

I’m voting for liberation from tea-party platitudes, hysteria, banality, and inane sound-bites.

Thank you for the video.

You’re right, Richard R. Couldn’t they have included something meaty and meaningful in this ad, something like “We’re the ones we’ve been waiting for” or “Yes we can” or maybe “Change we can believe in”?

Good one Polly….

Polly, do you mean something as meaty as the “America First” Republican slogan at the 2008 Convention where McCain proceeded to select a nitwit as his VP choice?
October 24, 2010 at 10:25 am - October 24, 2010
Oops . . . that meaty slogan was actually “Country First.”

ILC @ #2: “…That means his comments are right. Long story short: I’m confused!”
It ought to be instructional to all those still “confused” about the real strings managing the TPers… this new media ad, along with most of the TP Movement’s strongest slogans, were the same ones used by RR and the GOP in 1979 and 1980 –30 years ago. New faces, same issues… and it’s bread and butter GOP issues. Of course, these ostrich-like confused folks would rather snipe and snark than learn about reality.
In fact the Chicago TP new media ad was created by 3 former GOP Congressional and RNC staffers… and produced by a 4th former Romney natl campaign staffer.
Confused? I guess some people ought to put down that big ol’ ax I was saying they somehow can’t seem to stop grinding, close their yaps and open their minds a bit… but that’s expecting a lot, I know. Confused isn’t just confined to the gayLeft or Democrats… in some precincts, confused is preferred to being informed.
Put down that ol’ ax you’ve been grinding since you lost the immigration debate, ILC. You’re down to just a wee bit of the handle left… or, for you, that would be handle “right”.

“Speak of the devil” (i.e. whiner)
since you lost the immigration debate
Really? When? How? LOL 🙂
As I recall, MM, you were in favor of full amnesty for illegals. (Which hasn’t happened.) I, Bruce, Dan, and many other commentors on the blog were, by contrast, in favor of legal immigration, controlled by and combined with good border security. You got so nasty in that argument, that at one point, you name-called your host (Bruce the Gay Patriot) something very like a “neo-Nazi blue blood”, and several other commentors you called “nativist”, “racist” “bigots” – as you whined about the strength of their disagreements with you. It’s not a good move, MM, for you to re-visit that whole topic. If you seriously remember it as one of your finer hours: get your meds adjusted.
