My gal is quite a strong woman. Just one day after being hospitalized for an infection related to the reconstructive surgery (following her successful treatment for breast cancer), Carly Fiorina is going to be released from the hospital later today.
From the campaign:
Since she was admitted to the hospital yesterday morning, Carly has been successfully treated for the infection she had as a result of reconstructive surgery following her victory over breast cancer. This morning, her doctors gave her the good news that she will be released from the hospital today and can resume her busy campaign schedule tomorrow. Carly is grateful for the outpouring of well wishes and prayers from so many Californians. She is excited to get back on the campaign trail and to move forward toward a triumph over Barbara Boxer next Tuesday.
Do all these Democrats have something lined up? It’s a tough job market there right now, and i’m afraid that some of them could sink into a deep depression if they cant find a new purpose in life.
What will become of ‘Her Royal Highness’, Barbara Boxer, after the election?
.
Carly Fiorina is a breast cancer survivor? Cool! That gives me hope as I’m in that fight right now. I just hope I’ll have half the energy that Carly does when my treatments are done.
Go Carly! As much as I appreciate Boxer’s ability to embarrass her party, I can’t stand the thought of her screwing up America another six years. And I sure hope the California media picks up on Boxer’s attempt to exploit public schools for her own campaign.
I’m glad Carly is back on track. I admire her strength and bravery in the face of a terrible disease, cancer. Good for her! If Carly can face cancer courageously, then she can face California’s own tough times. This is why I support her. This is who Californians need. God bless.
Thats great news! I had the great pleasure of meeting Carly on this past Sunday. She’s a really neat lady and I can’t wait to call her “Senator”
Good luck with the chemo Seena-Anna, I’ll keep you in my thoughts.
Try pasta. a friend with bone cancer, that was about all she could keep down.
#6 – Ditto to that. Keep fighting, Seane-Anna! And a little chicken soup doesn’t hurt, either.
Regards,
Peter H.
Livewire and Peter, thanks for your kind words. I’m through with my chemo but will be starting radiation soon. Chemo was AWFUL; I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy, but I knew I had to fight this monster with everything there is. Everyone tells me that radiation will be much easier. I sure hope so. Again, thanks for your concern guys. I really appreciate it.
Keep your spirits up. When you go in for radiation, ask the tech if you can get the ‘special radiation’ that gives you super powers. It will get a chuckle.
