As election approaches, enthusiasm gap appears to widen
This is not the way to end your campaign — and a sign of the waning enthusiasm within the president’s party:
The arena where President Obama and Vice President Biden are making their final appeal to Democrats to get out and vote in Tuesday’s midterm elections was far from capacity Sunday afternoon.
The crowd estimate stands at 8,000 in the arena that seats just over 13,000 and a couple thousand empty seats are visible above the stage where Obama and Biden rallied supporters.
Reading about this sparsely-attended rally in the Democratic heartland of Ohio, Doug Powers quips, “The enthusiasm gap’ remains as gappy as ever less than 48 hours before voting begins:”

The people have had it with President Obama & his mindless Obamabots. The only person who does not get it is President Obama & his inner circle.

As Obama said last year, ‘what’s the difference between 1994 and 2010? You have ME now!”
Yes democrats, you have Obama now. In 1994 repubs gained 52 seats, and if in 2010 we gain double that, we will definitely thank Obama.
Indeed 51 percent of democrats want a dem to primary against Obama, but that would destroy black turnout in the general election. So dems, as they should be, after the past four years, are between a rock and a hard place.

Styrofoam columns, TelePrompTers, blame Bush, czars, legislation by arcane methods, blame America, pomp without circumstance, bowing to compost heaps, beer summits, no authenticity, empty platitudes, bald lies, imperial imperiousness, flit flying away, finger pointing, and so much more has made The Won into a little, little man. Only the Amen chorus remains and if you watch closely, you see even them begin to drift away.
America keeps checking its watches. Is it 2012 yet?
