Ride The Wave, Day Two

November 4, 2010 by GayPatriot

Don’t let anyone (yes, I mean you — Obamazombies) tell you that the losses in NV and CA were the story on Tuesday night.

THIS was the story on Tuesday and beyond.

On November 2, 2010, the Republican Party made its largest gains in the House of Representatives since 1948 and, I have been told credibly, the largest single day gains of any political party in local, state, and federal races combined in more than 100 years.

19 state legislative bodies ultimately flipped to the GOP. Of the 18 states that will gain or lose seats in Congress for the next decade, the GOP controls 12 of the 18 Governor’s Mansions. The Democrats have been wiped out except among coastal elites and majority-minority districts. The GOP, long said to not be able to make inroads in New England, now controls the Maine Governor’s Mansion, the Maine legislature, the New Hampshire Legislature, a New Hampshire Senate seat, and several congressional seats.

And that is just the tip of the iceberg.

The reign of King Barack I is severely damaged thanks to We, The People.

You got that right! CA and NV will rue keeping their incumbents and re-hiring that grasping, pathetic hippie.

I realize polls are not completely reliable but they indicate supposed trends. But it boggles my mind when I saw the 10 point spread between Maám and Carly; also Sharon was ahead of Harry by four, who in the hell she lose? Was it the SIEU or ACORN stuffing the ballot box?

In NV the Dems and the unions do what they do best.
On election day they will drive ppl to the polls and give them a gift card or offer a free meal for the right kind of vote.
Cruise any union site, offer time off or a freemeal to take em to the polls.
It’s old style, creepy politics. And NV and CA frankly deserve their elected officials.
THe red part of the country is happy and going to be far more prosperious. God Bless America. Love the look of that red map!!

I read that Republicans gained a net 700 seats in state legislature, and Democrats gained….. one.

We use to get liberals in here who predicted conservatives and Republicans would be in the wilderness for 10-20 years. After two years of the socialist Obama, another failed liberal experiment. Unlike the 75 year war on poverty, the Obama experiment had a very very short shelf life before the old milk stunk up the frig. hehe

I was prepared for some heavy losses in the House in 2012 because we won some seats that were very marginal. But with the gains in the Governors and the state legislatures in a redistricting year that might turn out to be more gains. Even states that don’t gain or lose Representatives must balance their districts for population shifts. Unless a state has only one Congressman after reapportionment, it will need to redraw district lines. That means that several large states will be drawing districts more favorable to Republicans than they did a decade ago.

Also, the alleged Mormon Harry Reid made an unholy alliance with the gambling industry; Harrah’s casinos pressured their employees to vote for Reid; actually threatening managers who didn’t get their underlings to the polls. Conservatives should organize a boycott of Harrah’s casinos.

Bruce, I thought it was supposed to be Grand Sultan and Caliph Obama, not “King”. I mean, traveling to India and the remote kingdoms of the Far East this next week… it’s like he is a Caliph or Sultan of his own realm.

    $200m per day… well, at least he’s out-bested Michelle’s Gal-Pals Trip to Spain.
