Palin Perfectly Alliterates People Power at Play in 2010 Elections

November 5, 2010 by B. Daniel Blatt

She gets it:

The meaning of the 2010 election was rebuke, reject, and repeal. We rebuked Washington’s power grab, rejected this unwanted “fundamental transformation of America,” and began the process to repeal the dangerous policies inflicted on us. But this theme will only complement the theme of 2012, which is renew, revive, and restore. In 2012, we need to renew our optimistic, pioneering spirit, revive our free-market system, and restore constitutional limits and our standing in the world as the abiding beacon of freedom.

Had to look up alliteration. Wonderful Way With Words, she has.

Dan, cute post but lots of meaning in all that.

I can’t help but think we’ve got a passel of folks who might want to replace the Cult of Obama with the Cult of Sarah. BTW, can you recall the LAST politician who used alliteration to excess? Rush Limbaugh can… Jesse Jackson.

    Dan, very clever 🙂

Wait, how in the word can this woman put two words together let alone use words with more than four letters? I mean Chris Matthews, the smartest(!) person on MSNBC, said she obviously hasn’t read any books!!!

Now the reality: she gets it. She can relate to mainstream America and I just love how she keeps one step ahead of the real ignorant in this country and plays them like a fiddle.

This is just too good. Thanks Governor and keep it going . . .

Nemonic devises help us remember things by the use of a formula, rhyme or alliteration. HOMES for the Great Lakes, “Roy G. Biv” for the color spectrum, and the Do Re Mi song from Sound of Music are long standing examples.

How one makes the leap from using alliteration to having the character of Jesse Jackson is beyond comprehension. Jackson has a genius for turning a phrase to sell his social justice pornography. You can admire his genius and damn his cause. But his cause is not the source of his genius. Therefore, to compare Palin and Jackson because both use alliteration is goofy. I would image they both use toiled paper as well.

Heliotrope, I avoided making that point partly because it’s obvious, partly because I could not have matched your flourish. (heh)

    From her National Review post:

The last, and possibly most important, lesson is that a winning conservative message must always be carefully crafted.

“…a winning conservative message must always be carefully crafted”. Guys, that’s called propaganda. The Nation review piece was “carefully crafted” to propel her coming campaign. You may agree with the sentiments expressed in the article, but, as someone who has spent some time grading papers over the years, I guarantee this is not her thoughts – she didn’t write it. It’s not in her hand. It’s not in her voice. This has “ghost writer” written all over it!

As governor Palin vetoed the bill barring discrimination against LGBT state employees. Also, she stated she would support a ballot measure to bar LGBT employee partner benefits.

equality4JeromeSockpuppets, that is not how google remembers it. It says she vetoed a bill that would have implemented discrimination against gays, the opposite.

to ILoveCapitalsm: That story has a couple of twists in it. The full story is that Palin was against spousal benefits for gay employees, but vetoed the law for Constitutional reasons and then publicly declared her support for a ballot measure to take away spousal benefits for gay and lesbian citizens.

If mobs were taking to the streets of America to lynch gays tonight, this blog would be standing up for the lynchers tomorrow because the ideology is so all-consuming here that there is no room left for simple humanity and kindness.
And if someone came on this site to say a kind word about one of the deceased, they would be called vulgar names by the commenting bloggers here. The string of deaths would be denied just as the blogger here already denied the teen suicides, stating it was all a liberal ruse.

Jerome, your comment on here accusing this blog of doing nothing when the gays are lynched in America is as low as one can get. It was this blog that showed the hanging of gays in Iran. They may have been on your left wing media (TV or print) but I did not see any of the pictures there. Please take your Hate back to HuffanPuff where it belongs.

I wish Palin had taken her own message to heart when she made some of those endorsements, which to me sounds like she is trying to push the blame on to Miller and O’Donnell. It was their campaigns to run but maybe she should have vented them herself better before she threw her weight behind them.

16: Maybe someone should have vetted Palin better 2 years ago. By the way, for someone who thinks the people should get what they want, she sure doesn’t believe that when it comes to Lisa Murkowski. I watched as she ranted angrily on Fox about Murkowski being a spoiler. Funny how it looks like the so-called spoiler might have a good chance of being the winner.

Perhaps Kevin is unaware of this fact, being an Obama Party member, but when you have to forge and manipulate ballots to win, that means the people do NOT support you.

Of course, Kevin supports voter fraud. His precious Obama Party would immediately be crippled if the laws against non-citizens voting and against citizens voting multiple times were enforced. But as we know, Kevin fully supports and endorses the race-based policies of the Obama administration.
