The only common denominator is both men are President of the United States; everything else just diverges into contrasts between Reagan & Obama. President Obama is more President Carter than Reagan. Obama is trying desperately to cling to Reagan’s coattails due to his successes, but fails to see why they are successful. Obama is going for style over substance. I believe the Reagan comparison will invite outrage from both the Left & the Right as the MSM continues to be the lapdogs for the Obama Administration. THe Egypt disaster is yet another flashback for Iran 30 years ago. Carter keeps coming back instead of Reagan because, like Carter, Obama is no leader.

Don’t forget this famous passage in Obama’s book, Dreams From My Father:

“When classmates in college asked me just what it was that a community organizer did, I couldn’t answer them directly. Instead, I’d pronounce on the need for change. Change in the White House, where Reagan and his minions were carrying on their dirty deeds . . .”

I cast my first Presidential vote for Ronald Reagan and I voted for him the second time. He expressed pride in this country to a young college student weary of the misery of Carter. Now, we have that kind of misery again, unfortunately. At least, we have these snippets of Reagan to remind us of a hopeful President. I didn’t agree with him on everything, but he believed in this country and that mattered to me, and it still does.

First they compare him to FDR, and JFK, then they compare him to Lincoln and Reagan, when they SHOULD be comparing him to Carter, Nixon and Harding.

Nah. I think Obama would’ve circled the wagons around Alger Hiss.

Why I am not surprised that you gay cons would laud Reagan, a man who never mentioned the word ‘AIDS’ until 1986, more than 5 years into an epidemic which claimed thousands of gay men’s lives? This creep’s inaction cost thousands of men their lives! An outrage!

Totally disgusting that Obozo is now running around comparing himself to Reagan, and especially the way his little minions in the lame-stream media are assisting, since they all detested Reagan so much.

Oh well, guess this is to be expected when all the fancy glitter of Obozo has been shown to be nothing more than the tawdry tinsel which adorns some overthehill drag queen’s unfortunate choice of earrings.

The only comparison of the two men is this: one was a giant, the other is a garden gnome pretending to be a president.

Reagan’s TRUE place in history will always be as the Taliban president and the worst traitor in America will always be current Fox News correspondent and living, breathing piece of shit Oliver North. Both spoke about patriotism, but in reality they valued dollar signs above our troop’s lives as they profited from selling whatever technology they could to the Muslim extremists this board screams about incessantly. 9/11 could never have happened without the love and support of Reagan and North. And while Nancy Reagan was the epitome of glamour telling people to “Just Say No”, history will note that her gorgeous, extensive wardrobe was paid for with proceeds from the drug trade which her husband expanded throughout the world. Reagan should be dug up and hanged and North should face a firing squad (if he ever gets done patting himself on the back.) Reagan’s “I don’t recall” is probably the worst act of cowardice by a sitting president in history. When people say the slur “f—-t” actually means “coward”, it makes sense that the board idolizes Reagan as he was the ultimate coward. Yes, Republicans are such patriots.

do y’all have little effigies of Reagan in your bedroom? little shrines with candles and such? ’cause y’all sound like you’e pretty much deified him.

What exactly would Reagan have accomplished by mentioning AIDS in, say, 1982? The gay left hated him and would probably have done exactly the opposite of anything he recommended. If Reagan had preached abstinence, he would have been ridiculed just as Nancy Reagan was for her “Just say no to drugs” campaign (and still is today; see comment #10 above). I don’t understand why Ronald Reagan is still blamed for a disease that gay men gave each other. Gay male promiscuity was another form of the 1960s left wing sexual revolution that taught, “If it feels good, do it!”

During his eight years in office, Reagan increased federal spending by 53 percent, added a quarter of a million new civilian government employees, escalated the War on Drugs, created the “drug czar’s office,” and lowered the value of your 1980 dollar to 73 cents.

#13 – Auntie Dog-do, please cite proof of your rantings, because (a) they don’t make sense and (b) are probably more of your lies.
