In this clip from ABCNews, where Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK) takes issue with his former House colleague’s criticism of the Medicare reforms contained in the Republican budget, he provides perhaps the perfect rejoinder to those Democrats desiring to demagogue the proposal, “When you have a plan, then you have the right to be critical of what Paul Ryan said. If you haven’t put a plan on the table, you need to keep your mouth shut.” Otherwise, you’d be elevating yourself by being critical of someone else.
Seems to be the Democratic strategy for 2012. Attempting to elevating themselves by denigrating Republicans.
