So writes Ed Morrissey on commenting on Jimmy Carter’s recent self-assessment:
Former President Jimmy Carter isn’t letting modesty stand in the way of his assessment of his post-presidential life.
“I feel that my role as a former president is probably superior to that of other presidents,” Mr. Carter said in an interview with NBC News.
Morrissey details why the former peanut farmer has failed as an ex-president:
Carter actually started off his post-presidential era well, working with Habitat for Humanity to build homes for the poor. Unfortunately, he rapidly became one of the most destructive former presidents this country has ever had by interfering with American foreign policy long after the voters of this country explicitly told him they didn’t want him conducting it any more. His interference stopped Bill Clinton from dealing more decisively with North Korea, which gave Kim Jong-Il the time he needed to construct nuclear weapons. He has muddied up the Israeli-Palestinian peace process by cheering Hamas, a group that has earned its place on the US list of terrorist organizations.

Yes, Coca-Cola Carter never did get over losing to cool Reagan, and the world has paid big time. Life is messy.
I can´t forget how Helping Hand Carter said the elections in Venezuela were transparent to allow Hugo Chavez to continue his presidency, while the democratic opposition had proofs of fraud.
President Jimmy Carter does not know when to go away; 1980’s loss didn’t sink in, despite the Democrat Party treating him like a pariah for 20 years. Now, Jimmy & the Democrats are trying to rewrite history.
A while ago I wrote to the Carter Center — that being the only email address I could find — asking them to rein him in to keep him from continuing to embarrass himself. He just needs to sit down and SFU.
I think George Will once said that while Bill Clinton was not the worst president ever, he’s the worst man to have ever held that office.
I think George was wrong: Jimmy Carter is the worst man to have ever held the office of president. Bill Clinton, for all his faults, doesn’t hate his country.
Carter is a spiteful, hateful, and evil little man.
There isn´t a terrorist or a dictator that Jimmy doesn´t like.
Voter fraud seems to be subjective. When liberals lose, there’s rampant Chicago-style voter fraud across the country. See their response to 2000, 2004, and 2006 elections.
Meanwhile, Florida just passed an elections law and in every piece I read where the liberals were voicing their opposition (including Bill Nelson and the al-Qaeda Times), they state that there’s only been 31 reports of voter fraud in the last few years. To me, it makes me suspicious when liberals are downplaying complaints of voter fraud as no big deal.
It’s actually hard to prove voter fraud, especially in localities run by Democrat machines where everyone in the election chain from the poll-workers to the Board of Elections is a member of the Democrat Party. Even in places like Seattle and Detroit, where more votes are cast on election day than there are voters in the district, Demonrats insist there is no evidence of fraud.
Jimmah has outed himself as the most dynamic ex-president who fellates dictators.
On the upside, he doesn’t charge a speaking fee for it like Bill Cliuton does…
Jimmuh has the determination of a woodpecker attempting to excavate on a concrete utility pole. His brains are so scrambled that he becomes ever more convinced that he alone is the mastermind of success.
My mother told me not to mock such people. I didn’t listen.

I was commenting on Venezuela not the U.S.A. In countries south of the border it is common to have international observers. However, the only observer in that election was Jimmy Carter. Jimmy Carter with Hugo Chavez is about the same as Jimmy with Kim Jong Il. Whatever Jimmy and his friends agree upon leaves an odor that something is rotten in the State of Denmark.
I know. As long as the results liberals like are achieved in any election, it was a square deal. If they or their interests lose, only then is there rampant voter fraud.
