GIven that he’s been blaming others for failing to do his job, it’s no wonder a senior Senator said that. And no, it wasn’t a leading Republican like Oklahoma’s Jim Inhofe or Arizona’s John McCain, but a legislator Andrew Bolton of the Hill defines as “a senior Democratic senator“. (Emphasis added.)
And, no, he wasn’t writing about the misrepresentations the president made about his mother’s health insurance. Instead, the Democrat was talking about the White House’s reported failure to include Senate Democratic leadership in the deficit-reduction negotiations. Note that adjective, “reported.” It’s not even clear the White House actually failed to include its fellow partisans on any proposed deal, but Senate Democrats have come to so distrust the administration that they believe those reports.

You knew he was a snake when you picked him up, guys. Real statesmen would’ve refused their support for Candidate Obama out of concern for his low ethics and destructive social and political beliefs.
But gee, these are Democrats we are talking about… not people with any real understanding of words like “statesman” or “ethics”.
Moral relativism, it’s what all the cool kids are doing, DaveP.
President Obama has not been present for much of the debt talks; he used a proxy, Vice President Joe Biden as he campaigned for months. In the meantime, the Senate has ground to a halt since the House switched to Republican hands. Obama has come in on the tail end of the talks when they imploded coupled with the June jobs report of only 18,000 jobs created.
President Obama is in a state of panic; he should be. It’s too late to save himself now. He’s not a leader & has proved himself not to be trusted on several occasions. The most recent time of betrayal was when he invited Rep. Ryan at his speech while he excoriated him at the podium; Ryan could not defend himself in that situation. Since Obama is a bully, Obama made sure Ryan could not defend himself & his Ryan plan. Obama does not have a Democrat budget plan to date.
A basic lack of trust with THIS president? Even from Democrats? No! Can’t be!
“4.A basic lack of trust with THIS president? Even from Democrats? No! Can’t be!”
Welp, maybe it’s the democrats up for re-election?
