Nothing’s changed; we’re still living beyond our means

August 6, 2011 by B. Daniel Blatt

But there is no doubt that we’ve been living beyond our means and we’re going to have to make some adjustments.

Now, what I’ve done throughout this campaign is to propose a net spending cut.

Candidate Barack Obama, October 15, 2008

THIS CAN’T BE GOOD: U.S. Borrowing Tops 100% Of GDP: Treasury. “The new borrowing took total public debt to $14.58 trillion, over end-2010 GDP of $14.53 trillion, and putting it in a league with highly indebted countries like Italy and Belgium.”

I have become thoroughly convinced that Obama has lied whenever he said he we would cut spending. I think he wants the United States to become a socialist state, and just lies about it. I would guess that he doesn’t feel any remorse about lying or deceiving Americans. Perhaps he even thinks Americans deserve to be deceived and punished. I usually try not to be cynical, but it is hard not to when there is so much evidence.

I truly believe that the key to understanding Obama’s behavior is psychology, not ideology. Key words and concepts are malice, meanness, and the desire to take the country down a peg. This is why I feel free to detest him. It’s personal for him, it’s personal for me.

Well said. It’s personal for me too.

And Obama is taking an armored bus on another taxpayer-funded victory lap to celebrate having $2 Trillion to spend, (just like after “he” shot Bin Laden.)
