Another Big Speech, Mr. Obama?!?!?

Just caught this on AOL:

Guess this’ll be his much touted jobs plan?

Last night before bed, I scribbled a note as a reminder to check the president’s various speeches on his jobs tour across the Midwest to see if he then put forward any specific proposal.

UPDATE:  In response to the president’s announcement, Sonicfrog released this rant:

Don’t you think this would have been more timely maybe FIVE MONTHS AGO?????? And it’s SOOOO important, he’s waiting until September… Because, after all, it’s not like there is any need or urgency to get the economy moving sooner than that! Talk about leading from behind!!!!!

Instead, you went on A [political] BUS TOUR?

  1. Obama Dares Republicans to Block His Jobs Plan. “Don’t call my bluff!” shrieked the president, waving his tiny fist.

  4. After 3 years of abusing his authority with Porkulus, ObamaCare, Frank-Dodd, & about 7 other jobs stimulus bills, Obama is finally getting around to jobs with another stimulus. He’s a hopeless Marxist ideologue lost in in the maze of his mind as he circles the drain of the toilet bowl. He’s an idiot. There’s just no other words for him. He’s out of ammunition & speeches. He’s talked himself into a corner. Moron!

  5. I should say with 7 other speeches about jobs, not 7 other jobs bills.

  6. Did Ronald Reagan ever give a speech to introduce a jobs bill?

Of course not, RR’s entire policy was geared toward private sector job creation and economic growth from day one.

  7. Obama keeps proving daily he’s all style & no substance. He’s just damn annoying at this point given he is campaigning for another term, yet he could not lead children to the candy store. Incompetence is not enough to describe this narcissistic fool.

  9. Obama thinks he can give a speech and the economy will spring back to prosperity. The guy is like King Canute ordering back the sea, but without the humility.

  11. I predict the President will announce the core of his jobs plan is to create construction jobs on public infrastructure projects. No doubt everyone in the White House will fail to realize that by the time he gives the speech, the construction season will be winding down in much of the year. Or that heaven forbid, even if Congress passes such a plan, by the time they do so, and the President signs it, it will be too late to do anything about it in much of the US until spring.
