This what #Occupy Protesters Call Victory?!?!

November 3, 2011 by B. Daniel Blatt

Occupy protesters declare victory at shipping port:

Occupy Wall Street protesters have shut down operations for the day at one of the nation’s busiest shipping ports.

Port of Oakland officials said in a statement late Wednesday that the peaceful rally attended by thousands of demonstrators forced them to cancel typical evening maritime activity. Officials at the nation’s fifth-largest shipping port say they hope the work day can resume Thursday.

. . . .

Meanwhile, protesters left the port declaring victory with the nearly 5-hour rally that highlighted a daylong “general strike” in Oakland that prompted solidarity demonstrations across the nation.

Shutting down operations at a one the nation’s busiest shipping ports is victory?  Success is hindering the flow of goods and keeping people from working.

Sounds like someone is delighting in sabotaging our nation’s economy.

UPDATE:   Michelle Malkin posts some imagery (not suitable for MSM publication) of how these folks won their victory.

Imagine what the coverage of the Tea Party would have been like, if they had shut down a port.

Putting people out of work is how they define victory? That proves they’re in league with Obama!

The Oakland wrecking crew is not interested in saving jobs at all. Wonder what the longshoremen’s union is going to say about this…maybe we’ll have a union vs union donneybrook. Wouldn’t that be fun to watch.

Michelle Malkin’s got footage of “Occupy Oakland” and their crimes against humanity. Just FYI.

The other day I was reading that people are losing jobs due to those moronic occupiers at Wall Street. There was an article about how one restaurant had to cut its hours and lay off 30% of its workers because business has gone down so much due to people blocking the streets and not coming in to eat.

It just goes to show you, the occupiers really don’t stand in solidarity with the working class, otherwise they wouldn’t be preventing people from working.

Gee – I wonder why freight is beginning to arrive at Mexican ports to be moved by rail to the US. I just can’t figure it out.

If you think Oakland was fun, just wait until the WTO meets in Chicago next year.

I’m going to be there, along with many of my uniformed friends in the 25th District of the Chicago Police Department (h/t SecondCityCop).

Should be quite the party!!! 😀

Michael “Fat Sack of Crap” Moore says that violent OWS protesters are probably undercover cops sent in to instigate.

Some Oakland area merchants tried to appease the OWS barbarians by expressing solidarity with them. Guess how that worked out.

Between this stuff and the Jew-hating bullshit we saw a short while back, there are some really ugly undercurrents coming up here.

Methinks some of the Republican campaign ads need to mention Teh Wun’s and Ms Pelosi’s support for “Occupy” and intersperse image after image of what these dickheads are doing. Including the disturbing stuff, like flashers and public urinators and fornicators. And if not the Republicans, then some sort of privately funded (and specifically NOT Tea Party-associated) “Anything but Obama” movement.

I say that the shipping companies ought to send the bills for demurrage to the Occupussies.
