We got here a bit late, but saw a great presentation from Erik Telford at The Franklin Center about “information activism” (think: citizen journalists).

Now listening to a great talk from Alex Lundry at TargetPoint Consulting. He’s talking about the graphic nature that politics has taken on. Example….

  1. This graph is being called, “shit”, by all the liberals I know.

  3. Just look at how bad that Bush economy was. /sarc

  4. Wow……………I’m surprised at the reaction to this graph. Here’s and example;

    “The graph shows no context. It doesn’t say what the break even point is for jobs; nor does it show when the financial crisis hit. Using it as you do to try and show good job creation under Bush, or to blame Democrats for job losses is totally misleading and false.”

  5. Remember when all those on the left used to talk about the “jobless” recovery under Bush? . . .

  6. The plateau and decline in the blue region is obvious, but I’m suspicious about the non-inclusion of data before 2003. What was going on then?

  7. Hi Bruce,
    I would love to see this graph juxtaposed with Presidents (Repub and Dem) and for a longer period of time. I think it would be a far more interesting graphic.

  8. Also, to finish this trio, well done Bruce. You’ve successfully demonstrated correlation. Now prove causation.

  9. Easy answer, Pomposity.

    You screamed and pissed and cried that Bush was responsible for everything that happened during his Presidency.

    Now apply the same to Obama.

    Or more precisely, demonstrate what a good little hypocrite and racist you are by refusing.
