Well, a prominent liberal comic said those who eat at Chick-fil-A deserve to get cancer:
Failed Green Party presidential candidate Roseanne Barr said that anyone who eats at Chick-fil-A deserves to get cancer, Twitchyreported Wednesday.
“[A]nyone who eats S**t Fil-A deserves to get the cancer that is sure to come from eating antibiotic filled tortured chickens 4Christ, (sic)” she tweeted Wednesday.
Referencing tweets Barr sent to another Twitteruser, Twitchy said “Roseanne believes parents who feed their kids food from Chick-fil-A are child abusers.”
Later, she posted an apology, but Twitchy said that apology evolved.
Prominent liberal comic? I get the liberal part but no so sure about the “comic” and “prominent” parts.
Oh Roseanne has some prominent parts–her big mouth and her giant azz!
Are you serious??? The Nader Cult actually ran that fat ranting bitch for president?
Dan, I can’t believe you would post this, not after Sandhorse and rusty whined about how confronting liberals about their statements and saying they were wrong was “disrespectful” and “incivil”.
You should know that, because Roseanne is an Obama liberal and gay marriage supporter, that she should be allowed to say whatever she wants.
Furthermore, your pointing out her words could upset liberal commenters who support her and ruin “dialogue”.
“Has a conservative comic . . .?”
That’s an oxymoron.
Today’s conservatives seem to have a hard time in any field involving creativity. How many of them do you know who are accomplished in the creative arts?
Comedy involves creativity – a comedian needs the desire and ability to see beyond the surface, the typical, the obvious, the standard, the orthodox, and beyond the indoctrination that has stunted their development. But creativity is one of the things that today’s conservatives fear most. Creativity represents change, new ways of thinking, insights, and making things different, all of which are anathema to today’s conservatives.
Thus, today’s conservative’s attempts at comedy just come off mostly as nasty. It’s a vehicle for them to indulge their bigotry while trying to make it fun. They’re like bullies laughing at their victims, or like people making fun of the handicapped.
Wow, Richard, you do wear your prejudice on your sleeve, don’t you?
Actually, as per the above, when a liberal attempts to attack a conservative through comedy (as per the above, it comes off as nasty. You say that it’s vehicle for conservatives to show their bigotry. Ok, I provided an example of a mean-spirited liberal comic.
Your turn. Provide an example to show just how you reached your conclusion.
Thanks!
Small problem with that, Richard Rush; you support and endorse making fun of the handicapped, and you call those who disagree with or criticize doing that “homophobic”.
Furthermore, let’s post a sterling example of what you and your fellow bigot liberals endorse and support as “comedy”.
So it seems, Richard Rush, bigot and supporter of bigots who make fun of handicapped children, you’re just projecting once again.
Furthermore, you’re making an idiot out of your friends Cinesnatch, Sandhorse, and rusty, all of whom now have to explain why they support and endorse and refuse to call YOU out for uncivil behavior.
Tell that to my many happy, successful GRAPHIC DESIGN CLIENTS, nitwit. Or the people how have purchased my FINE ARTWORK (I do serigraphs, fused glass art and mosaics.)
May I suggest you never go into the field of career guidance? I would imagine that with your hate-filled, fascist tendencies you’d cause teen suicide rates to SKYROCKET.
‘That’s an oxymoron.’
This statement is FALSE.
‘You are an uber-moron.’
This statement is TRUE.
The disheartening thing about Richard R is that his bigotry is not his own, but a product of the left-wing echo chamber and circle jerk wherein they constantly tell each other that they are better and smarter than everyone else and anyone who disagrees with them is subhuman.
Breaking news!: Anonymous sources are saying that America’s most beloved chicken chain has hired Todd and Sarah Palin as their new spokes-couple, and that they will be traveling next week to an undisclosed Bible Belt location to launch a new advertising slogan:
“God created Chick-Fil-A, not Chick-Fell-a-tio.”

@12:
Someone needs their stinky diaper changed.
And here we have Ms. Guffaw showing how, in her words:
“Comedy involves creativity – a comedian needs the desire and ability to see beyond the surface, the typical, the obvious, the standard, the orthodox, and beyond the indoctrination that has stunted their development.”
And:
“Creativity represents change, new ways of thinking, insights, and making things different.”
HA! HA! HA!
You’ve been a great audience folks!
Give it up for Richie. Let’s hear it!

So… basically, the most ingenious and creative comedians on the left find the same things funny that eleven year old boys do.
OK. Whatevs.

It was a beautiful comeback, V the K, but I’m not sure it was worth 3 postings. (LOL…just kidding you. It’s nice to know I’m not the only one who does that sometimes.)
I don’t know how that happened. I thought there was a built-in filter against repeated posts.
Sarah and Todd Palin buy some Chick-Fil-A. Friends of Richard R respond with expected level of maturity and class.
