Addressing the Harry Reid Pederasty Rumors

August 3, 2012 by B. Daniel Blatt

Via e-mail and from a number of sources on the web, I have heard that Harry Reid is a pederast!  Now, do I know that that’s true?  Well, I’m not certain.  But obviously he won’t address those allegations. How would it look?

It is a concern as Ace notes, “millions of parents in DC and Nevada send their sons to school every day without knowing whether Harry Reid is, or is not, a pederast.”

I don’t think the burden should be on those making the accusations.  The burden should be on Mr. Reid. He’s the one they’ve alleged to have engaged in pederasty. Why hasn’t he addressed the allegations?

Until the Senate Democratic Leader addresses the rumors of his pederasty, we really won’t be sure.  Let’s hope our friends in the legacy media investigate this question to end this uncertainty and resolve the issue.

A special council should be appointed to investigate this. The seriousness of the charge is intergalactic ginormous and makes Reid a “certified” potential public menace and hate-mmonger as he oozes his way into welcoming meetings with visiting school children, pages and boys choirs.

Also, I have heard it reliably reported by people who are “in the know” that Harry Reid has not denied charges of decades long wife beating and keeping a goat.

For posterity’s sake, let’s note that this post is a riff on Harry Reid making allegations about Romney’s taxes. That kind of backdrop will get lost in the mists of time.

Reid is making the allegations on the Senate floor, McCarthy-style; suggesting that Romney must respond even though Reid has NO evidence of the slightest wrongdoing, only the rumor and speculation that Romney-haters are repeating to one another, echo-chamber style. Reid says that it is up to Romney to disprove the rumors; in other words, Romney is guilty until he proves himself innocent, and to the satisfaction of h8ers who by definition will never be satisfied.

To echo Bruce’s twitter feed, I heard from Harry Reid that Obama and Rahm Emanuel will swap spit in front of a suburban Chicago Chik-Fil-A today.

It’s up to Reid to disprove it. 😉

I actually like Romney’s response: Reid is only repeating what Obama told him.

Nicely done. It puts the focus directly back on where it belongs, which is that this is just Obama’s inner thug being put out through puppets.

    Hi Peter H>
You defended McCarthy a couple of years ago on GP. Based on your logic, at the time, if Harry Reid is correct about Romney not paying taxes, would you not make the argument that BDB, et al.’s actions are “something akin to sinister evil.”

    Regards,
    Cinesnatch

    From a Previous Thread:

As far as I know … Harry [Reid] hasn’t released any of HIS income tax returns as required by Senate protocol. So what is HE hiding?

Peter H. makes an excellent point that this should have been tit for tat, and that BDB has sunk to a low here by jumping on the pederast bandwagon. Serenity spoke of standards a few weeks ago (how is that three week bet looking, VTK?), or a lack thereof, and I now get what she was talking about.

Shorter Cinesnatch: I won’t hold Harry Reid responsible for HIS behavior. Instead I’ll scream, cry, and attack conservatives, since they actually have a moral code.

Your Obama Party now says it’s OK to accuse someone without evidence and then demand that they prove their innocence, Cinesnatch.

Do you oppose that? If so, then why are you attacking Dan instead of Harry Reid?

And since you clearly have no interest in attacking Harry Reid, why should we believe you when you say you oppose it?

Again, Vincent demonstrates his general dimness. The while point of raising allegations about pederasty was to point out how absurd it is for t bitter, senile, undertaker Harry Reid to be making baseless accusations that Mitt Romney OS a tax evader.

I guess that point is too subtle for a leftist to grasp.

VTK, I get what BDB, et al, are doing. Their choice of ‘pederasty” to make their “point” is gross.

    Point made, sure.

    But, at what price.

Gross. Not a good color on the right and would be equally disgusting had it been used by the left. Just an overall low.

Speaking of dimness in reading comprehension …

Peter H. makes an excellent point that this should have been tit for tat

Perhaps the “point” wouldn’t have been made to the low standards set by BDB, et al, though. Again, what price, what price. Left or right, we all lose.

But it wasn’t “equally disgusting”, Snatchy, because if it were, you would have been equally attacking Harry Reid.

And as far as “at what price”, you think we labor under the delusion that pig leftists like yourself respect good behavior? You rewarded Harry Reid with your votes and the position of Senate Majority Leader despite the fact that he’s engaging in such behavior.

Your actions show your bigotry and lack of values, Snatchy. And furthermore, they show clearly your disgusting attempts to exploit the decency of other people. You operate at the same moral level as those who embezzle from charities.

The concept of Reid ‘pederasty’ was already circulating – in the ‘right-wing echo chamber’ or ‘vast right-wing conspiracy’, if you will – a good day or two before this post of Dan’s.

So, Dan *is* doing just what Reid did, and nothing more. (Or what Reid claims to be doing: just reporting rumors that are circulating out there for some reason, and won’t stop for some reason.)

Further, the concept of satire (or perhaps the broader category, humor) may be lost on some.

Let’s pretend for a minute that, indeed, Mitt hasn’t paid a dime in federal taxes in the last ten years and, further, let’s pretend that it was completely legal – that he adhered to the letter of the law.

The problem in this case wouldn’t be Mitt’s non-payment of taxes he didn’t owe; it would be another indictment of our ridiculous tax code.

In the meantime, I heard that Harry managed a huge profit on a property he hadn’t owned in three years at the time of the sale he profited from… oh, wait – that’s true.

I did a Google search about this, and it didn’t have any explanation. This sounds like some right wing hatchet job to me. Now before you come after me, I personally find Reid a wuss and a sleaze bag.

The only way that typical Democrats like Reid will stop this kind of behavior is if they find out that they are vulnerable to it as well.
So tomorrow Harry Reid wakes up and finds out his name is now synonamous with child assault… I think my conscience and honor can handle that ding just fine. After all, if he didn’t want the rep all he had to do was act with dignity and honor.

  23. ILoveCapitalism says

davinci, it’s not a hatchet job, it’s more of a spontaenous collective parody of Reid’s unbelievably lame accusations on Romney’s taxes. See #2.

  24. ILoveCapitalism says
